Navigate Is Precise Living Is Imprecise
At sea, navigate
                   it is necessary... to be
                   be alive...
                   On the earth walk
                   it is necessary to
                    reborn , so said
                    Jesus... !...

Abcde: Doctor, Leave Me Be
An apple a day, so they say,
But some folk get carried away.
   Consumer advice:
   Don’t be imprecise—
Eat ten, and the doctor you’ll pay.

Premium Member Ask Twice For Ice
At lunch, I wanted a simple iced tea
But a tea with ice was not meant to be
The glass, smoothly tall
Held no cubes at all
Where all my ice went, was a mystery!

The waitress (who was not very nice)
Lectured, my request was imprecise
You must specify
For ice to supply
Next time, order your iced tea with ice!

I Ended the World

In this uncertain world
at this imprecise time
I drink shots of Tequila
with slices of lime.

I snorted the atmosphere
from my cocaine spoon
blew out the night stars
then swallowed the moon.

No longer need to pretend.
At noon I smothered the sun
I brought it all to an end.
We fear God, kill his son.

Winter Walk
Floating in the river, there are
Chunks and bits of ice,
Lazily meandering,
Their journey imprecise.

The water’s gray, the sky is blue;
A smokestack bellows white.
An early morning winter walk
Such eyeings do invite.

The promenade belongs to me;
Manhattan’s yet to stir.
The neighborhood is mine alone;
The pigeons would concur....

Adrift Endings
Hauntingly explicit, plighted
  in yesterday's cloaked mystery,
wafting as whispers through
 wistfully grayed memories on dimly
          recalled moonlit indulgences,
winding imprecise hazy endings
    beyond darkly covert horizons

love isn't blind, it's persistently unsighted
                by distantly echoed adrift endings...

Premium Member Stars Above Your Head
Such beauty and precision
Fills every piece of your life
Stars and planets are too imprecise
Maybe you see them as too simple
Or just not pretty enough for you
Only one thing could please you
Make you feel relaxed and at home
Snowflakes of every shape and size
Hanging above your head while you sleep
Giving you the world that you want
The world you need

Filtering her imprecise vision an array of ensign so diverse Beautiful devoid of deception each one with its own story to tell Just for her they symbolize so much the dawdling return of her eyesight Suddenly the shells became her all confirmation and hope she prayed for Inspired by Nette’s Parallelogram de crystalline Contest Written by Wilma Neels

Shoes Steps Life
With heeled shoes
no false starts
no mismatch
safe steps.
Between my flat shoes
and your high shoes,
a lifetime for us
to hit the pitch...
Between you and me,
a long journey.
Between us and eternity
an exercise of steps
with no shoes ...
Shoes are gone,
but life passes
and it's not over ...
It's that with our inaccurate
steps we do not need
shoes ...
We need living
but life is imprecise
without our steps... !...

This nowhere, a contrived freedom
expatriate as air,
demonstrates our mastery
of what we meet or leave behind.

Each precise beginning
finds an ending imprecise,
as we fly to where or whom we wish
only to find them somehow less.

The conquered distance
returns within ourselves
as all that's joined grows relative
becomes a nowhere too.

Until the town seems smaller
the loving eyes less absolute....
