horde by unseen eyes
shirking the coming dusk
slashed to a million pieces
prickling the mind
wailing, screaming
with concise thoughts
as a lasso to the soul
we pant to the sabbath
as we come to birth
but with the brevity of breath
smirking with utter defiant
swimming in an ocean of doubt

"What is flirting?"
He replied,
"It's a light-house sending
signals to the wrong ship.
If the wrong ship arrives safely on the dock,
the right ship won't be docked; it will wander around
the dock, or leave to find another place to be docked"....
Since then, I have been doing my best not to resemble
the habits of the light-house....

     the tired lagoon
where wrinkled reflections
and silhouettes of a million
      spruce steeples
tickled the horizon.

A chorus of slapping halyards
joined a colony of gulls
in their repertoire
above the docked fisherman.

Trees, painted half-white
by windward squalls
faded off like a black curtain
to await an encore at dawn......

Not a door at which one knocked,
For stubborn key one has mocked:
The picture: a room with wares stocked
By one who had a ship docked,
All its windows well-shuttered
For a privacy not shattered…

I searched for the treasure.
It was said to be on the ledger of tha sea.
As I search the sea I didn't realize  it would be a free....
and from the tree's so long it would be.
The voyage was so long I decided to return homeSo we docked the ship.
I was discouraged.
I started walking the beach and to my surpise there it was the treasure.my family just standing there waiting for me on the ledge of the sea....

Amidst the glisten of toys
the confetti of nursery rhymes
play dates and toddler pools...
children prefer a cardboard box
that becomes a boat-
a magic flying machine-
a train
a place to ignite the mind and dream.

In short time the train runs low on steam
the boat is docked to a flock of demands
the magic flying machine sputters 
in a cloud of graying tasks.
Must growing up burn imagination into ash....

In pools of pain I am sinking
It is the Truth by Boredom bringing
