Premium MemberI Plucked The Moon From The Sky

I plucked the moon from the sky last night.
No one else seemed to be using it
So, I thought, “Why not?”

I mistakenly thought it would fit comfortably in my pocket
But, it bulged, protruded, and made it difficult to sit!

“Stupid moon!
What good are you?” I grumbled.

A TV news anchor rattled on about
Potential collapsed ecosystems, climate

The Plucked and Watered Flower

THE PLUCKED AND WATERED FLOWER

Wondering lonely as a floating firmament,
Seeing a petal held up by the branch
Like a host of golden daffodils,
In the green pastures of nature
whistling sounds of peace
Besides the still lakes of serenity,
I apply as the gardener in the vineyard
Mulching the gracious garden
As my weary toes grips mother earth.
To pluck the flower

Plucked Flower Is Living Dead

" Flower plucked from plant is like a new born baby dumped on road"

Bright, tender flower, my beauty all devour
Humans stop and look at me, faces full of glee

Joyous whole day, in breeze I sway
Many sisters and brothers, love chatting with others

Family loves me, am well fed must agree
When insects sit on me, I am

Mine Shaved Spindle Shanks Indistinguishable From Plucked Chicken

I suddenly became aware
(although rooted motive not clear)
avoiding self castration ere
yours truly back during
forty three plus summers ago

(do the math and figure out what year)
long haired pencil necked geek
applied dull razor
to remove, (albeit temporarily) hair
covering these skinny legs.

The missus asked me
(hitherto known as her bozo)
just mere moments ago
to craft humorous poem to glow
nsync with the

Plucked Your Smile

soft scent of spring blooms a rose
throbbed in thorns, a warm gaze close.
urge to hold and pluck your smile,
will I fall in love, who knows?

Premium MemberLost Love Is Like a Plucked Rose

Beneath a far moon love's fragile rose dies
The stem with its thorns has crumbled by fate
The truth of demise assists hopeless cries
To fear the dark has come to suffocate
This beautiful flower akin to fire
Turned a weathered old stem, brittle and brown
Robbed of its scents of unabashed desire
Never again to wear the royal gown
Love's blood drips

Plucked For You

Plucked for you, this little flower
Given in earnest, modest gift
Posies and love bloom by the hour
Plucked for you, this little flower
Sun kissed and rain wet by shower
Hoping yellow, your worries lift
Plucked for you, this little flower
Given in earnest, modest gift

She Plucked My Petals

From bud to bloom she watched me grow
In my garden where love for him was first begot
One day she plucked my petals, whispering low,
"Does he love me, or love me not?"

Waiting To Be Plucked

.

Down in the valley’s cold iced over pond
there lies one lone white lily
                 so waiting to be plucked

Premium MemberPlucked Violin--- Memories

This is too complex; i mean the throbbing wound
grating my belly on a dappled day, a day
breathing of tender winds and violins. Perhaps,
the strains of notes shuttle me back
to my grandfather’s library sitting on books
and archaic telescopes. Here, we would
empty the shoulders from a rough sail;
he scattering fiddle

Simply Plucked Innocence

Lone Little flower
Wiliting in the sun
Sentimental power
Standing at a run
Lost in lonesome sunshine
Without a count of days
Listening to moonshine
And rough yet practiced ways

When I Plucked Out My Brain, I Saw

When I plucked out my brain, I saw
it had roundness and grooves.
So it was a wheel and fire.
It was also made to aspire.
There were literature and awe
when it would move
like an unlit seed in winter.
I would come to despise its birth.
It lacks a maid, a lover, and call nurse.
