I Plucked The Moon From The Sky

I plucked the moon from the sky last night.
No one else seemed to be using it
So, I thought, “Why not?”

I mistakenly thought it would fit comfortably in my pocket 
But, it bulged, protruded, and made it difficult to sit!

“Stupid moon!
What good are you?” I grumbled.

THE PLUCKED AND WATERED FLOWER

Wondering lonely as a floating firmament,
Seeing a petal held up by the branch
Like a host of golden daffodils,
In the green pastures of nature
whistling sounds of peace
Besides the still lakes of serenity,
I apply as the gardener in the vineyard
Mulching the gracious garden 
As my weary toes grips mother earth.

I suddenly became aware
(although rooted motive not clear)
avoiding self castration ere

forty three plus summers ago

long haired pencil necked geek
applied dull razor
to remove, (albeit temporarily) hair
covering these skinny legs.

The missus asked me
(hitherto known as her bozo)
just mere moments ago
to craft humorous poem to glow

Plucked Your Smile

soft scent of spring blooms a rose
throbbed in thorns, a warm gaze close.
urge to hold and pluck your smile,
will I fall in love, who knows?

Lost Love Is Like a Plucked Rose

Beneath a far moon love's fragile rose dies
The stem with its thorns has crumbled by fate
The truth of demise assists hopeless cries
To fear the dark has come to suffocate
This beautiful flower akin to fire
Turned a weathered old stem, brittle and brown
Robbed of its scents of unabashed desire
Never again to wear the royal gown
Love's blood drips

Plucked Violin--- Memories

This is too complex; i mean the throbbing  wound 
grating my belly on a dappled day, a day 
breathing of tender winds and violins. Perhaps, 
the strains of notes shuttle me back 
to my grandfather’s library sitting on books 
and archaic telescopes. Here, we would

Lone Little flower
Wiliting in the sun
Sentimental power
Standing at a run

And rough yet practiced ways

When I Plucked Out My Brain, I Saw

When I plucked out my brain, I saw
it had roundness and grooves.
So it was a wheel and fire.
It was also made to aspire.
There were literature and awe
when it would move
like an unlit seed in winter.
I would come to despise its birth.
It lacks a maid, a lover, and call nurse.
