Your Eyes Are Dirty Panes of Glass To Your Soul-

I look upon your eyes, I see a dirty glass;
A smudge dirty window to your heart;
And deep inside your throat you hurt;
You’ve consumed to much dirt;
You choke
Now in your soul, you know
And unbearable lune
You haven let go of you sins
Wash the window of your soul;
Spill up the dirt you’ve ate whole;
Deep inside your heart invoke;

The Haunted House

There once was a house down the lane
With tattered shutters and broken window panes
They said it was haunted
But I was undaunted
I went in normal and came out insane

And old man came to answer the door
He said, "If you want to come in, are you sure?"
The man was a ghost
He said, "I'm your host"

	Puttied panes, encased in pink-primed steel
	Watch tiny rivers wend their downward way,
	While puddles form where thin green spikes reveal
	A just sown lawn, where one day I may play.
	New houses; salmon bricked, like some great quilt.
	Stark line posts, straight as soldiers, stand erect,
	All razor edged, where blood may soon be spilt

it's somber this evening
this rain falls fast and hard
echoing like your words
against the panes of my soul

i struggle to breathe
with this weight
upon my chest
as it suffocates me

i feel lost
somewhere
between this darkness
and my dreams

to find my way back

that's tossed about
in the depths of thought

Frosted window panes
hundreds of unique crystals
children scratching ice

Through the Winter Panes

I will remember you in the brightest sunshine!
And even better in the misty rain.
Or in the sounds of crunchy, Chicago snows.
Beneath our running lovers' feet!

I will remember you each bright time
I smell popcorn, so warm and buttery.
Oh, how you relished that treat!
Snuggling next to our first Christmas tree.

But, God took you home to His eternity.

Panes of glass in my soul divide me from my past
Portals that serve as the windows into my future
Yet clearly distort the visions of my present tense
 
Frosty panes on the periphery of my vision ahead
Wavy, hazy rain streaked dusty and cracked obscure
Coats the window with grime from the road’s voyage

Night's breath has coalesced 
upon the window pane
etched a landscape all in white
with forest, trees, and lanes.

Frosted panes, once so plain,
now graced by nighttime's sighs
lift lacy limbs toward white capped hills
below a pristine sky.

Comes the sun, the night's undone
and I can almost cry,
as night's trace is fast erased
from my weary eyes.
