Space Buggy
They built an A.T.V.
and sent it to Ganymede.
It was programmed to go
here and there.
Time passed,
NASA diminished,
there were staff depletions.
The unit sensed
that it had been abandoned.
Eons skipped on by
the worse got worse,
The moon-buggy (for Ganymede is a moon),
watched as planet earth
went POOF
dispersing like dandelion seeds
on a solar wind.
If the space-cart could have shrugged,
it would have
however, it

Mosquitos, bugs
Small, tiny, mini, macro

Buggy Buzz
in spicy Madras
mosquitoes target bite ass
night and day harass!
I applied some sticky cream
to deter their evil scheme!
early dawn herd buzz,
million flights of buggy curse,
park on my reverse!
my cream from castor oil farm,
trapped them like a magic charm!
they struggled to free
As I giggled with sheer glee
till one bit my knee!
in anger I swat it, swore
with my

A Murder Mystery
Buzzing above me
Whizzing through shadowy flight
Stabbing fangs in skin
Causing welts and itchy bites
Festering plots slay these pests

Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers
Alliterative adjectives
Are like poetic additives
That rearrange raw rhythmic rhyme
So sonnets sound more-so sublime.
“Aggrieved aggressors,” “Angry Aunts”
“Outraged oppressors,” “Haunted haunts”
Are all alliterative bits
That prod poor poems into hits.
Consider how this very verse
Without alliteration would be worse.
For con-sequential consonants
Create quaint quotes of consequence.

Bring Back the Horse and Buggy
Automobile prohibitive maintenance costs
pitches me pitifully begging for alms
lamenting dog forsaken
melon collie unpleasant circumstances
pleading with outstretched palms
disgraced to beg, perhaps donate
major organ and/or entire body
to ease vehicular qualms
aha... methinks the missus could pose
as ventriloquist after mortician embalms
these lovely bones, but, hmm...
even then post mortem
agitation most likely becalms...
Straitjacketed impasse finds
yours truly going for broke
to nurse our

Buggy Blues
In the soon to be future
they built an A.T.V.
and sent it to Ganymede.
It was ordered to go
here and there,
to dig and scan - it obeyed.
Time passed,
samples were sent back
for analysis.
Eventually NASA diminished,
there were staff depletions.
SpaceX had other projects.
The unit sensed
that it had been abandoned…
needing a purpose, it communicated
with aliens,
kvetching, and disaffected interlopers

A Buggy World, a 'Buggy' Life
Possession's nine-tenths of "the law,"
Is what some pundits say
Implying "weak" own nothing real
And brute "strength" wins the day.
But if one looks at "biomass,"
It's insects that have won,
For ALL Earth's mammals are outweighed!
My, logic can be fun!
And insect's also might survive
Our next atomic war,
Intelligence, a passing phase,
Man, "ugly" carnivore.
Is "buggiest" the human race,
"God's image" just a

Buggy and the Spider
God gave Adam the right to name all the creatures of the world.
On yesterday, 12/02/2016, a little bug appeared on our lamp table.
I did not know his name, so I gave him one and called him Buggy.
When I saw Buggy, my first thought was that he did not belong in my house, and instinctively I

Blue Buggy
There is nothing quieter
than voices urban, reflecting,
echoing, shrill dead happy notes
beating against windows and walls
Small children in the park laughing
and you, sitting to draw and push
a blue buggy before the rain comes
Squeaking steel springs to soothe,
imagining a baby there,
Dreaming of rice pudding and clouds
Look now, how they move quickly away from school,
while the rain
