Reject this authoratarian plan..
Its plastic poison.' Make a stand.'
Write, sign, email.' Steel your wills.'
Speak the truth, the only answer to
Such intended I'lls.'

The Last Blunder

The walls are imprisoned in silence,
A heavy, powerless silence, shattered
By voices, tears, and crowded souls.
Justice hides in the corridors of greed,
Crimes are sentences uttered in the halls,
The innocent are moving targets,
An age-old burden on the backs of those who did nothing.
Must we remain silent to breathe under this weight?
Must we bend so we are granted

St Patrick’s Day Blunder

Aunt Bertha’s been drinking with Mable
Ten Guinness cans litter their table
They’re ‘nissed as a pewt’
This fact they dispute
But cannot stand up, they’re unable!

Old Mable can’t rise from her seat
She’s cussing (words I daren’t repeat)
Then she yells, “Get help quick
Cos I’m feeling quite sick"
Which angers the barman named Pete!

Two students help Mable to stand
She blurts, “Getting

a blooper a blunder a bungle a botch

A blooper, a blunder, a bungle, a botch
A miscue, a misstep, misjudgment and more
A faux pas, a boo-boo, a bumble for sure
A miscalculation, a miscomputation, grade goes down a notch.

Beauty of Blunder

Just how glass cracks
after a lapse,
one should make a gaffe
to smash the mirror of arrogance.

Bouquet Blunder

My husband had purchased fresh flowers
They sweltered in his car for eight hours
Twelve roses of red
Were nearly all dead
His Valentine’s Day gaffe truly sours

My Wedding Day Blunder

On the first floor of a hotel in Cape Cod
A larger than average lady got on the elevator

She pressed floor number two
Immediately I blurted out “Number two???”
“You could have walked”

Her immediate response was
“What??? And lose a pound!”

My new wife first cringed
then breathed a big sigh of relief

Sometimes I blurt out stuff without thinking
VERY DANGEROUS!!!

Putin's Great Blunder

Putin said he wouldn't invade, but then he's known for his lies
So when he sent in his murdering scum, it came as no surprise 
It will go down in the annals of history, as Putin's great blunder 
And if anything it's united Ukraine, and not tore it asunder.

God Does Not Laugh At the Blunder of Fools

Frowning, I read the words of a sanctimonious poem.
one t'would be praised and lauded by sinful, Jeroboam.
Its lines were written by one who is ignorant and daft
to think at mankind's flaws, almighty God would laugh.

Scorn Satan if insisting on talking about liars and fools.
Their weaknesses exploited. They're the devil's tools,
but don't point a finger at

The Blunder

They misread, not misjudged, what was being said.
I lugged it up with my tenebrous mirrorings instead.

The denial to force trials remains an aware voidance.
And my calm is lit, despite the sprinkler's presence.

and they did something that would make Mom mad;
they found their Xmas presents,
opened, and switched the contents -

Desire

Red lips, curvaceous hips
a sway in her walk tips 
the scales and leaves me
wondering how I ended up
here.

A chance meeting, a persuasive
greeting, entices me to
give in, to live in the moment
