wasnt sure where to put this, so I’m putting it here. Ha.

Oh the glorious embrace of insomnia.
Lol


I started this one about 40 years ago. I’d forgotten. Didn’t say it made sense, and if I tried to explain what I think it means, it would ruin it. Maybe it will mean something to someone. Not sure why it called  to me tonight and reappeared, but.
I named it

“Fall Mountain, Just Don’t Fall on Me”
.
About 1000 years ago...
And 100 worlds away.
It happened right up the road they said,
When the noon skies all turned gray.
Can you dream again, Can you face the Wind.
Put the kick stand up and roll away?
Pretend that nothing happened.
But your sky has still gone gray.
He ain’t coming home they said.
But at least he’ll never leave again.
Yet the joker hides within the deck,
As the Norse men set their sails to wind.
.
100 worlds away...
In the middle of the day.
Just right up the road.
The watchmen looked away.
They could not bear the load.
The passion of the fathers, 
The sons could not uphold.
And the sonnet of their daughters,
Never sung and never told.
.
The Rachals weeping in the end,
Because their sons could not be found.
The fathers had abandoned them.
Into the void without a sound.
.
Cú Chulainn... don’t you tell your story.
Alive or dead with eyes wide closed.
Your fame outlived your glory.
But your flesh outlived your soul.
.
The taste of blood within your mouth,
Defied the taste of pennies in your eyes.
The hope for gold within your pocket,
Defines the tainted taste of lies.
.
Ol devil keep away from me.
I’m just trying to get by.
Ol devil won’t you let me be.
Let me keep my love alive.
You stole my friend what you trying to prove,
You stuck a needle in his arm.
Stole my lady nothing I can do,
She’s fallen for your charm.
But you gonna pay us all someday.
It won’t be much longer.
I feel a cloud rising from the east,
And now I’m feeling so much stronger. 
.
Gray is pale.
The Rider comes.
Brandishing the scales.
Pay no mind,
To the 6 or 9.
The mountains soon will melt.

A lovely idea! But alas, I have neither the cranial capacity nor experience much less expertise to even begin to exact such a monumental task. Umm... thnx but I have no idea how to do that. Lol. I just post nonsense and silly rhymes on this here site.
