Take a challenge

If I ask you "What are you going to do this week that really matters, or makes a difference?" I suppose there could be several great answers. Here are some examples; 
I'm going to take care of my kids and keep steering them on the right path. Good answer.
I'm going to get up and go to work and continue to provide for my family and provide the service that my occupation demands thus helping my community and economy. Good answer.
Whether you are a stay at home Momma (one of the hardest jobs in the world) or working Mom. Maybe a corporate business person, or entrepreneur or hourly wage earner. Every action influences some thing and/or some one. Our ordinarily lives influence and create our culture. Everything we do matters. Whether it's buying a cup of coffee, greeting a total stranger, or helping your child with homework, or paying your electricity bill. Everything matters.
What if you did something out of the ordinary? What if you went out of your way for somebody? What if you did or said something that you've never done before, or maybe haven't done in a long time?
Probably just some little something? What if we all did? Lol. My theory is that if we all did a little something out of the ordinary, or something that wasn't exactly natural to us, we would create something together that would be extraordinary, maybe super natural. So I challenge all of you . . . Do something out of the ordinary this week. Something that will make a difference. And by the way, I'm gong to take my own challenge. Don't know yet what, but I'm gonna wait, and listen and try to pay attention. When the opportunity comes, I'll do my best to act on it. Every day we live, we have another chance to make the world a little better. So now: what are you going to do this week to change the world? What are you going to do this week that really matters? What will you do this week out of the ordinary? I'm anxious to hear. As I finish this I'm hearing the lyrics in my head to the old song Put a little Love in your heart. Let's do that.

Very nice blog. Reminds me of some of the church songs we sang when I was young. There was one that began: Have you done any good in the world today?

I am going to knock on the door of my elderly neighbours and ask if they need a trip to the supermarket or anything fetching. Then go to my local hospital with a box of cookies for the nurses , Just because. These things I do often and they do make a difference.

Johnny. If you are serious, please talk to somebody now. Please. Call someone now. I've had several people in my life that chose that route. Two good friends among them and one ex. It never solves anything. Talk to someone now please

I love this kind of thing I've been pretty much doing it none stop since my divorce, today I taught a man from China who works in a nail salon new techniques in massage so he can get better tips! - for 2 weeks now I have been working with about 21 different poets to learn Crown sonnets - YUP YUP getting out of your box is a hoot
