I need you

Dear friends

Life has become even more challenging.My darling husband now has cancer.Can't quite believe it and although life must go on, at times everything seems so unreal and my emotions are in an upheavalI hope you don't mind me sharing this with you but I wanted to explain why I have not been so committed to SOUP recently.But I still so need you.

.Although I know that I have family and friends you and your words matter so much.You cheer me up with your funny rhymes.Your words can also comfort me and give me strength and make me realise although my own world is upside down others are suffering too and are in need of compassionand the hand of friendship.Also those of you that have faith of any kind inspire my own,though my love of God remains as strong as ever.

I have printed off my favourites from you for my own personal use so that whatever I need I know you will provide when I read them.Although all your works are special to me.I appreciate all that you are,your spirits and your humanity shine through your poetry.

I am so grateful you have all come into my life.Your names are too numerous to mention, but I want to thank you for what you give to me and I know will continue to give as you share your talents and skills and most of all yourselves.I realise a long uncertain road lies ahead,one maybe that some of you have travelled but I know that you are there and I will not desert you.

God bless you all and may His LOVE guide you and keep you safe.

Dear James Andrea and Wilma-Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and prayers.My love for God will never alter no matter what happens in life.But I am merely human,and as vulnerable as the next person.So I am so grateful for your outpourings of love and compassion that give me strength and raise my spirits. Oh June so very sorry to hear of this sad news about your husband.. we will put him on our Church prayer line chain which is a 24/7 revolving chain of constant prayer luv.. keep your faith and strength strong knowing we share your burden at this time luv.. and u are not alone.. your Soup family and friends watch over u with luv and care... anything else I can do please soup mail me luv..

I am very sad to hear this news about your husband, I have lost my husband in a car accident, it was quick.. Cancer is dreadful, perhaps there is hope for you husband, sometimes a miracle happens.You are in my prayers dear.. I will light a candle for both of you.. God Bless
