I started in the games business as a computer graphic artist. I am a former professional puppeteer. I write passable poetry and recently turned one poem into a song. I am working to expand that skill.

It may surprise you but publishing poetry in an open forum is a bit like dancing naked for me. I am not used to displaying emotional content to many. I have CPTSD There are hints as to why in what I write and I will leave it at that.

I have been spelunking around online since the early 80s. I have a lot of hobbies including organic gardening, genetics, virology. At one time I owned a city farm and had 3 horses and chickens..

I founded a breed of cat called "The American Ringtail". Now a day I bought a seaside home in Northern California as a fixer upper ( its 100 years old) and I work away on projects more personal to me. I am writing that book and hope to have the first part published by Summer 24.

In November of last year, while I was undergiong dose dense chemotherapy for agressive breast cancer. My good friend, confident and fiance whom I had known for 44 years passed away in the middle oft the night. To say it was a shock was an understatement. Though I knew it was a possiblitity, He had a history of health issues and he had been ill with flu like symptoms. He and we had survived so much.

And then he was gone.

February 28 was his birthday. And the grief hits anew. For I will never hear his voice again. Or feel his hands or kiss. And I will miss him forever.

I posted two short stories that are excerpts from my book about our lives. Enjoy and please leave me feedback. If you happen to wander over to facebook there are some photos to go along with the writings.

I am blessed though. I have met someone new. Someone I think Alan would have liked and friended whole heartedly. Ane we are about to embark on our adventures. And yes, that was fast. I think the universe reached in and said ENOUGH this gal has had enough. Or its Alan himself influencing the dice roll from beyond. In any event, its charmed and meant to be. And I once again am on the path of creation.

So sorry for your loaa and especially dealing with it during chemo?? my daughter just finished her chemo for breast cancer as well and I had breast cancer 8 years ago, but only took radiation. I hope you will stay well for a long time enjoying your new romance.
