Material Determinism
Are we just meat and butter
Dull slabs for the cutter
Do genes contol hiddenly?
Have we no power or free will

She Waits
And she sits by the phone,
waiting to be called....
the girl with her
heart on her sleeve.
She waits and she waits,
till despair does befall.....
so concludes it is time she should leave......

Exhaling
A slice of skin
let's begin
the journey
journeying
where the mind may be
at rest
peace in time
time with mind
never concludes
properly
I've never been
a proper person
all that is right
is there a slight chance?
before I explode I exhale....

The fish comes to the surface of water
to observe the earth world
of men...
 Sights what it sees, and
feels the danger...
For just a moment,
 it analyzes , observes...concludes
it's not solid ground...
So he dives back
to its aquatic world...!...

Perplexed
I wake up and taste the sweet ambrosia of morning
-	You’re kisses are like wine
The day has broken and sends out its warning
-	And so concludes my reverie

The days is but a frenzied whirlwind
-	Shattered is the memory of so short ago
Racing forward like a turbulent storm
-	To meet my destiny’s challenge...

The Next Chapter
My times are in God’s hands
He has recorded my life from
Beginning to end. My disappointments
Every loss, every challenge my closest
Friend.

He has written out a plan to bless and
Prosper me. My final chapter concludes
My God given destiny. The key to go through
Problems, grief, and loss, is to know the next
Chapter is filled with favour, and victory....

The whippoorwill sings softly to me
From darkness of night, the bird I can’t see
Singing goodnight daily, from trees to sky
It has clearly made its home nearby

Peacefully it calls to me and rests my heart
I close my eyes to its song, until we part
The restful melody concludes my day
So, perfectly as I listen, I’ve nothing more to say

Word Ladder from HEAD to TAIL

With thoughtful HEAD, ideas took hold,
Then gentle touch, a story told.

A HEALing touch, a soothing art,
Mending the pieces of a weary heart.

The whispered word, a verdant hue,
A vibrant TEAL, fresh and new.

A spoken story, soft and low,
A captivating TALE, starts to flow.

And as it ends, the final sway,
The wagging TAIL concludes the day.

Never Unexpected
The sun sets after it's rise
The seasons change from hot to frigid
There is an exit where there is an entrance
Did you think I would be shocked or surprised?

A hello is followed with a goodbye
There is an end to every beginning
A period concludes a sentence
Did you think I would breakdown & cry?

"Always expect the unexpected."
Oh ....but this ending was never unexpected
Good bye...

Emo Night
In the depths of my soul,
Expelling through the cold,
I crave tonight an emo love.

To stare into the abyss in your eyes,
To torture you till you cry,
To feast on your dripping blood.

With one eye I see all,
Crack, whoop, slash, gush,
Oh let the red rain paint the floor.

The dark ceremony concludes,
The luminous embrace prevails,
Like the moon it was just a phase.

Wisdom of Why
Confusions or wonders, cramming congestion,
Acknowledgement, that true trust dies.
Curiousity, begging the first question,
Beginning of where, wisdom lies.

Triggered, when encountering the uncertain,
Questioning, one's perceived self worth.
Innocently peering, behind the curtain,
Finding one's purpose, upon Earth.

"Why?" concludes, where questioning starts,
 Predertimined, by our own hearts....

My Experience In the Hospital Campus Tunnels
Iron monsters
with bearded men astride,
stir a whirlwind
crashing past me howling warnings
then evanesce into silence.

A man dressed
like an angel
concludes by saying, "take care"
before sallying forth
down the long cement block corrider.

I walk through the tunnel,
surrounded by multicolored tubes.
Figures in uniforms grow near then diminish
into vanishing point
entrances to new encounters....

Rebel Yell
In the sunken hollow a gray mass
addles
A silhouette of swaying muskets
shadows
Braying horses the silent vigil
rattles
A curdling breeze across feted
expanse prattles

The stilled pageant concludes with
the order, "charge"
From sheltering tree line, a
disheveled mass doth barge
A shrieking, cacophonous chorus
christens the onslaught
Menacing octave wafts;
Union, tidal waves to
distraught...

Chessmen
The compromise of day...
forgiveness falls to night...

The memory in seclusion...

the dwelling by candle light...

A spark is felt with feeling...
reality concludes...

The deserted composed...
of the precious moments accrue...

Like chessmen without a move...

We're forced to re examine...

the entitlement of freedom...
with fist diminished force...

The more we search the reason...

The more we discover the source......

Clean and Serene
Clean and serene,
Yep thats me.
Drug don't dare get near me.
11 months ago were not right,
I was chopping up that powdery white.
Never again will that be me,
On the other end of the phone saying GET ME OUT PLEASE!
August 12 is my one year sober,
And that I don't wish I could do over.
Today I'm clean as you can see,
God is blessing me.
I took it step by step,
And one day at a time,
And this concludes our drug free ryhme....

Measureless
To measure up the moments
How measureless they be
‘Til toil consumes and life concludes
We notice – suddenly
That ‘twas not so immeasurable
Nor not so ponderous
But with a token patience
We could have counted all

And whether life had beckoned
And sped a firmer hand
Or whether it ease gradually
A snail upon the sand
So much had thus been granted
And yet so little still
That had we truly tallied
We'd perish – unfulfilled...

My Girl
In your presence acutely tuned,
senses heightened, I'm lost in you.

Warm sensations wash over me,
in brilliant colors, its ecstasy.

Thoughts are clouded, can't really see,
no else does matter, just you with me.

My world is spinning, can't stop this ride,
expose emotions, I cannot hide.

Love is blind, or so they say,
but what I see is clear as day.

True love, a search, some lifetimes spent,
my heart concludes you're heaven sent....

Pine-Wood Wings
AC Benus translation of "Uns/ aus den Händen/ fielen die Kameën"
by Robert Jentzsch

We/ from our hands/ watched as the cameoes lay
Slipped from our fingertips used to their caress;
Fallen are the pearls whose tempered sight just may
Have spared us from our own distress.

Past/ is the day. Others cheer when it concludes
With deep evening as gliding stars come to play;
On the other hand we repent dying moods.
Pine-wood wings blowing clouds away....

Lilac Breeze
Early evening’s warm fresh breeze
Sented aroma adrift with ease

As afternoon sun melts slowly down
Day light concludes with a dusky crown

Evening beckoned me out for a stroll
Dainty placidness quenching my soul

A silky breeze makes my spirit content
Picking up lilac and trailing her scent

Sun dripping slowly down her pink sky
Eloquently melting as birds fly by

Enraptured by this lingering breeze
Relinquishes hope for tomorrows ease
