What to Submit?
1 original, poem on the theme of Apocalypse.
Any form is acceptable.
A corrosion spews on blackened lip,
Fissile waste from pores drip.
Betrayal radioactive to the core,
I ask myself, were you worth living for?
Buried in toxic waste,
Lust for life erased.
An A bomb's been dropped
So destructive society stopped
Zombified with a fusion touch,
You're an atomic-crypto-crutch.
As a nuclear induced face peels,
That's how a heart feels.
Hopes all disintegrate to silt,
Tell me, was it worth all the guilt?
When the apocalypse is done,
Only I 'm left, a malfunctioned one. ~By Poetessdarkly
