What to Submit

One original poem in any theme, but only acceptable form is a Monotetra.  A monotetra has 4 line stanzas in monorhyme . Each line is in tetrameter (4 metrical feet) for a total of 8 syllables per line.            Stanza Structure is as follows:

Line 1 = 8 syllables

Line 2 - 8 syllables

Line 3 = 8 syllables

Line 4 = 4 syllables, repeat 1st 4 syllables

For this contest, I want at least 2 stanza's but not more than 4.  Place it under Monorhyme. For an example, check out my poem "A Stormy Night"  NO NAMES PLEASE. Give this form a try and have fun!

Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts. 

English Language

Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
