A Note to Poetry
Contestants (PLEASE READ THIS PART)
You are welcome to
enter
this contest, whether or not you won a prize in one of my previous
contests except first place in the Any Form -- Any Theme series.
This series of contests are an attempt to give new poets and lesser
known
poets a chance to have a spotlight on them and their works. This
contest
is for fun, it is judged by just a plain guy who has no credentials for
editing
or passing judgment upon another person. I enjoy seeing people
grow as
people, as poets and as friends. This is my way of being a small
part of
that. Please smile whether you win first place or you enter and
don't
place. Because what ever level of writing you are at the more you
write
the better you become and by writing and entering this contest you just
became
a better poet. See, told ya to smile.
