Interesting Number of Views

I have mentioned here before that I am not a very good PS citizen. I do not post very many comments on other's poetry and, as a result, which I completely understand and appreciate, my poems do not get many views in return.
My poems average about 30 - 50 views (many of those me, rereading my own poem). Poems that have done well in Contests get anywhere from 50 - 100 views. Not a problem. I understand how this works.
Interestingly enough though, I recently posted a poem/story that has, for reasons I cannot understand, received over 300 views. This is not a poem that was entered into a contest; this poem has not been a featured poem on the Home page; and, I just thought it interesting that this particular entry, "The Goodbye Kiss", would have received so many views. And, the funny thing is - this poem has not received many comments - in fact, to date, just 1! Interesting.
Have any of you experienced such a phenomona? A poem that has received more than your usual number of views for reasons that you are not aware. I just thought this a bit odd and thought I might ask others if they have had a similar experience. Any ideas why one poem would go "viral" so to speak? What would draw attention to one particular poem?
