Not from a dry throat
robbed of water
But still a thirst so mighty
that lays unaltered

The peak of it’s most daring
Of heights unseen
Its cold most wearing
The promise of dreams

Illusions aside
I may try to conjure
A parting of waves
A path from the shore

I’ll lay brick before
Every step of my feet
Create the path I know true
Until my journey complete.
