I love butterfly's and I am becoming quite fond of your writing as well Charmaine. The progression of the poem becomes the flight of the butterfly. T.Y.

"And I feel it...". Yes, I could most definitely feel it, the fluttering of the gentle wings along my arm, as I read this poem! And, I could see it, with the wonderful imagery within this piece! Stunning work!

Debs will adore where you took the topic of leaving on a jet plane. Very imaginative!

This is so heart-warming! You created such a wonderful setting. You don't know this, but one of the video games I'm working on is about 2 butterflies helping each other out to overcome the elements of Mother Nature. I kept thinking about my game as I read this. I definitely enjoyed this!
