Drink ever deeper
From my stinging liquid lifeblood
Vision tunneled
Balance shattered
I awoke in a place I never knew existed
Sky black, stars bright
Body numb
No control
Everything I left behind
My life, my dreams
In a glass
Tossed back
Laws mean nothing
When I'm too gone to see
I am man

My future means nothing
When I can so clearly see
It isn't there
It never was
I gave up my life
To sustain my happiness
