About This Poem
Blowing a Kiss to You
I stand here you see,
Your Worships, all three,
we know that I'm guilty, it's true.
I'm sure you'll agree,
with my pedigree,
some time, in a jail, I will do.
A lawyer I'll see,
who'll alter my plea
and dazzle, with much bally-hoo.
In Court, you will see,
a different me
and Jury? They won't have a clue.
All humble, I'll be,
with no repartee,
but oodles of deference due.
And when I am free,
as surely I'll be,
I'll blow a sweet kiss - just for you!
