Fading Will

Time passing many things left still The clearness fades each day, I think I’ve been robbed of a once strong will Shattered, pushed to the very brink So many dreams once held inside Time passing many things left still Hope has left, no place to abide What will bring one final appeal What can change to bring heal to heel The question pondered many nights Time passing many things left still Life blurred in the sea of night lights A dream stays alive but hidden Sometimes I think it won’t reveal Joy a thing that is forbidden Time passing many things left still

I really need to thank you double, for allowing me to revisit some of my work, and for your great work as well. Thanks again for the comment.

The words seem to fade away as I kept reading. I imagined the words getting softer and softer in my mind as I was reading each line. Amazing work. This is very touching and sad. I like your repetition--thought it was a great effect. Keep writing, man. You're really good in my opinion. I'm no critic, so I'll just leave it at that! (: Always, Laura

Wayland, this is deep having your will up and leave without a notice. But, somehow I think we are responsible on keeping the will and joy alive. Love the depth of your poem. Many can relate with the deflation of wanting to hang on. Anyways, reading your poem has me realizing, on my own faded will.... well its more like Smokey. ..lol...all gray... xox..Linda
