Robbed again?
We neighbors looked at each other.
A policeman rolled his eyes
Even his grandmother looked doubtful.
I looked at his nose for new growth
Fifteenth claim of being robbed in twelve months
His insurance refused to pay and cancelled him

Why?

Why did you do this to me/
I did not do that/
Is it because I'm not Christian, just why/
Simply... Clear my name/
I did not do that/
Why did you do this to me/
I never done nothing to you/
You robbed me of a life/
May you go to Hell/
For what you did to me/
I'm haunted and scarred for life/

Enduring Part Two of Illness Journey Poems

*** ENDURING ***

(A Part Two about my recent illness, following “Lunacy Loo Flies.”

Fear
Stepped into the holes of my weakness
To impede my pace to recovery, 
Absorbing the basic radiant light —

My going forth walk had previously always carried
Since early childhood when chronic illness first struck, but
Good humor with hope and dreams were all well founded within.

We've lost many people already 
To the undying thirst of drugs
That seems to extinguish,
everyone who cares enough to partake 

It's like a fire that continues to spread
With people falling for its allure 
Only to sink deep like quicksand,
And it's hard to get yourself off it 

Many families crying foul
Others are in the darkness
Cause they think

Prosperity

Prosperity, vagabond,
Pickpocket of poor and old
Predator of oil and gold
Jewels, cash, land, or blondes.

When Prosperity pulls stakes,
Abandonment marks its wake 
Jobs and places disappeared
Prosperity robbed and sneered.

I'm  robbery prey

                                    A lady giggled at me.

           

Robbed By a Snake

I'm naturally very giving in nature..
So you put your hand out to take.
But because of you I'm no longer the same..
Your just an evil lying snake!

I trust too easily in general..
So you decided to lie.

Last Night I Got Robbed

Last night I went trick-or-treating
And I got lots and lots of candy,
Today to my surprise my bag was
