Singing each pain to the wind,
Till I owned my song.

  self, Overthinking situations that
  no longer serve one's purpose. Releasing

Releasing My Chains

Shedding the chains In my mind, anile regrets reside. 
A haunting reminder of mistakes I cannot hide.
Self-doubts and hurts cling to my soul.
As heavy chains, dragging me down and taking their toll.

But today I declare, no longer will I be bound,
The weight of these memories keeps me tied down.
I gather the strength

Releasing What's Not Mine

In the vast prairie land,
I stand with candid hands,
Letting blow of what's not mine,
As the wind blows in strands.

The wind carries my worries,
Faraway from my mind,
Leaving me with peace and calm,
A sense of freedom I find.

I release all the expectations,
That was weighing me down,
Giving up on the need to control
And the fear that I had

Every time a teardrop falls a memory escapes my mind, a thought that I have held prisoner, for all this time
It’s time to let it go, there is no need for it to me, only a never-ending reminder of the person I used to be 
A sweet and innocent girl one so trusting, so true,

Releasing My Hatred

My purse got stolen from my car.
It had six or seven pieces of my favorite jewelry in it.
I kept lamenting about it, angry too about the money.
I had taken six hundred dollars to my daughter’s home.
To purchase a crib, but she decided on another one, online.
So, my six hundred dollars was gone too.

I had the easiest time letting go of my oldest.
She and I were not getting along any more. 
I had to drag her to college and help her sign up.
I stood in line after line, to get her enrolled.

This woman that I see is worn down she is full of heartache and stress she has carried a load that is too heavy for her.

She is carrying the burdens of others as well as her own she tries to be superwoman and feels as if she is a failure if she does not carry

Focus on what is right there in front of you.

Be creative and enjoy the simple things you like to do.
 
Relax and enjoy the melody of a song.

The more positive you are, the less will go wrong.

Meditate and help your aches and pains.

Let go of negative like you would with dirty stains.

Lies from directions I had not expected 
Offered in a variety of ways 
Apologetically 

Pretending to be concerned 
I sent them away 
Recognizing their imperfections 

Seeing them more clearly now 
Rumour Mongers 
Thriving on gossip 

Fabricated by clouded minds
Trouble makers 
No longer friends of any kind

The Trump madness deepens
And the world grows darker
The evil ones have been released
The wild things are growling

The dogs of war
Satan’s hell hounds
Are on the loose
Howling at the moon

Running amuk
Infecting us all
With their madness
As we all turn into mindless zombies

Jealousy and insanity
As Trump and his neo-fascist
Cabal unleash the monsters

Anyone At All

There are many things I must mention
The biggest one is releasing tension
Expressing letting it all hang out
Regardless of what it is about.

A brain _____ barely had a trace;
____sure has such an ugly face
Had hair hard to stay down;
Vivid scene of a vaudeville clown.

For nonsense ____ had a big thirst
Face appeared to be pig

Releasing the World Bound To the Pages

I open the book and turn the pages
Releasing a mythical fantasy
The world and noise around me vanish
I emerge into a world anxiously

Into a touch of real true magic
That is in the making as I breathe deep
My heart pounding under the dramatic
lasting   performance my essence will keep
