Jimmy Poems - Poems about Jimmy

Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy

Jimmy put the mighty back in Blighty

Our riper sniper

Viper and pied piper

Didn't want to budge

Depravity of sporting gravity

But given the nudge

So off he did trudge

Issue won't fudge

Still got a grudge

The king of swing..conker on a string

Chestnuts curve...swerve with such verve

You rarely see him hobble our wizard of wobble

Still wiry and fiery...fit as a fiddle so

I'm hoping to be teacher's pet
By reciting my alphabet
My teacher said to me,
"Jimmy you missed out P"
I'm crying and very upset!

My teacher, her name is Miss Clegg
Said Jimmy, "Tell me, I won't beg"
Where is the missing P
I said, "Miss, can't you see
It's running down my trouser leg!"

Premium MemberJimmy Catching Up

My sister and I used to skip and sing on the way to school
We loved laughing and chatting about Jimmy, the fool
Jimmy had a crush on both of us and tried to keep up
One time he got in trouble for bringing his pup

He was always getting into trouble but had a heart of gold.
I feel

jimmy Campbell

He deserves a plaque
He so wanted a music school
but could not prevail
He was broken
by the dark side of the hill
He was at times self deprecating
forecasting his lack of success
always putting others first
because he thought it was his duty
He wrote an epitaph to Elisa Cope
and thanked Dear Marge for first love
One thing is clear
talent isn't always

After my young wife died tragically, I decided to move away
Memories we made in our house were painful; I couldn’t stay
I’d often remember that phone call from her doctor who’d said
"John, you need to get here quickly" but I knew she was dead.

I moved to West Virginia to the town of Harpers Ferry
It was where

JIMMY

"WOW; What a task!", I had replied unto mine Master.

He had bid me; "Name Me one good n' pure, of recent human alabaster!"

I searched to n' fro', coast to coast n' 'round th' globe...

Frantic'ly anxious I became, 'cause in these times I knew th' throes.

When; "ALAS!"...it came to me, so evidently clear...

"MASTER, O MASTER...HE WAS

Premium MemberNew Year’s Old Wishes

So many live life as a masquerade
With guarded heart and masking face
It’s not until we lose or gain in faith
That we are pruned to grow by grace

As the year ends we regret deaths
Thinking of those passed on as left
In the old year we had the same frets
Of love, fear of war, poverty and debt

President

Premium MemberWhy Is The Sky Blue? Asked Jimmy

Why is the sky blue? Asked Jimmy
Fantastic question!
Why indeed?
Why did The Creator
Whether God or Science or a Scientific God
Choose blue
Instead of forest green, pale yellow, or maroon?
Is it because the day seems cheerier
The world brighter
The people friendlier
Due to the color overhead?
A Mount Everest of evidence shows
Humans are happier
Outside
Under the blue.
So, why

Little Jimmy Short-Legs

Little Jimmy Short-Legs
took it in his stride
that everybody called him
“Little Jimmy Short-Legs”
‘cause he knew
way down deep inside
that his sturdy little legs
were really, really short
and one would have to be
all but blind
and ever so polite
to not plainly see the shortcomings
that his little legs displayed
he was however
very, very grateful
that nature
when being a little mischievous
which

Premium MemberJimmy is Intent On Beating His Own Record

Jimmy was intent on beating his own record.
Forty-six hours of straight video game playing.
He heard some crashing outside.
Thought it was a garbage truck.
Never looked out. It would quit eventually.

The bashing and crashing sounded closer now.
More like Armageddon than a garbage truck.
Jimmy turned up the volume on his console.
Twenty-eight million and sixty-three his golden star said.
He

A mutiny on the ship in the sixth of the seven seas
Caused by the notorious parrot Mr. Jimmy Jeaves
He is the worst captain we’ve ever had said the cook.
He is the meanest of the mean, he threw away the book.

Captain Pirate heard the cook and made him walk the plank.
The rest of them watched in

Jimmy Doyle Wright
Born: 7/29/1948 Died: 4/4/2016
By Tom Wright

Jim was a loving husband, father, and brother,
who will be remembered by most for his wit.

Jimmy’s life began like a breeze
whispering through thirsty grass,
and terminated like a wagon wheel
that was two years dry of grease.

Warring with death, he
