Fears Bondage

I put my heart on the line so many times,
I shared so much, I never felt the need to hide,
I viewed it as freedom to speak up and out,
I chose faith over fear more than anything else,
I watched fear debilitate and anxiety ridden,
Over cautious hearts believing it's wisdom to stay hidden,
All because they were scared

Dreamer and The Dreamed

As a child I loved to dream,  
making my days and nights grand.
Reading made my dreams come true,
far off places I wanted to see.
As the many years went by,
some dreams came true,
others lay dying.
What I learned through the years,
as an entity in the dream we conjured-
we know not we are-
both the dreamer and dreamed.

In bondage to form

Wherefrom arises desire begetting thought,
more so in moments when we think we are still,
imagining ego is reduced to naught
and that we have surrendered to God our will?
It seems clear bondage to form invokes desire
in heart, manifesting as a fearsome fire,
quelled easily enough though if we so choose
without excuse, to make love and light our muse.

Why are we in bondage

Patterns become habits and habits confine.
We cling to routine and yet wish to be free,
hoping in vain to be graced by bliss divine
but the truth is we are tied to our mind tree.
Heart is the centre where thoughts originate,
so we must first make it tranquil and sedate,
whereupon our wayward ego too recedes
liberating soul, since throb

Nights left open eyed 
red eyed mornings come too soon 
restless floating thoughts

Satans Yoke of Bondage

In the shadows of the night,
I feel Satan's yoke, so tight,
His grip upon my soul,
Is a weight I cannot control.

I am lost in his embrace,
My heart and mind, he does encase,
I am but a pawn in his game,
A victim to his fiery flame.

My spirit, he does harness,

Because freedom’s on pause
That sees oneness— seer same as scene.

Celebrating Bondage

Mind-body has it's need,
which we deem a blessing,
for else as living light,
we’d never realise
heightend joy and pain plight.

Mind-body has it's need,
which first we feed and then
attempt to curb heart's greed
that cravings of ego
within us do not breed.

Mind-body has it's need
but know it's a vessel
for our earth life sojourn,
where descent and ascent
enables soul to learn.

Financially Strapped

An expensive strap is going to cost you
Your credit card a Lion
The chance to beat who pleasure counts
A token love for sign

Where credit keeps you occupied
for loving that means more
When snaps at night mean plots for flight
that points defile for

Freedom From Bondage

Encased in form, soul clamours to be free
In every which way, we feel incomplete 
We are tethered to our mind-body tree
All we seem to do is think, sleep and eat
As we age, we feel energy deplete 
We wish to have the cake and eat it too
Feeling within, blissful magnetic heat
Soul rises through octaves of each
