just a start - Janetta Harrington's Blog

i first want to admit  to you all that i have a really hard time spelling and also changing my words

backwards.  sometimes i write so quickly and forget to do a spell check and then my

writing is terrible.  the reason is that i have some injury to my brain and  i have to take a lot

of medicine.  writing is how i show this.    i also break a lot of dishes and i find ti hard

to stand up and walk very well.l  i have a  time with talking and those around me ( thank God for

my friends have been my friends that they can usually fill  in and help me talk.  they work

to be patient...if i am tired i will call a microwave a car and vice versa and i will

stand and observe these thingds that are happening to me.  this really makes me

angry about my speech because if you didn't know me you would not have any idea

that i was doing this.  i am not telling you this to let you be sorry for me, just to let

you know that if you say i need to spell right or my words are mixed, i am not

offended,  i just love this site and am happy to be amonng such a talented bunch of

people.  in august of 2005 i began the write on poetry.com at that time just

for my own entertainment.  little did i know then that altho i don't know your faces

i find you are my  biggest cheerleaders in the balcony.    i do thank my God

each time i get a comment from you, or you read me over and over again.

brings me to te first time i sat down to a computer after mother died and

wrote a little poem and a man  wrote in the first review, if that  was all i could do

then i needed to pack up and go home.  and....to date i have never seen

him on the site again.  i am so glad i didn't do what he advised because

i would have, AND I QUOTE, "missed the dance.' .............thank you ....janetta
