Lady Sylvia Tucker, Lovie Divine Poetess, Public Writer of Poetry Since Age 16 In the bicentennial year 1976, is an African American Humanitarian Poet.

At age 16, the same year America celebrated 200 years of independence , another beloved poet and an African American Bell emerged as a poet.

It was when her first gifted poem, “Golden Sand” which was publicly given to her mother on her 40th birthday on July 2, 1976 during this iconic season. It was the tradition to celebrate her mother  in the theme of celebrating America and the poem was cherished by her family; and was again gifted on her mother’s 75th birthday at the Jewish Concert Hall with over 200 guests from as far as Connecticut, Virginia, And California came to celebrate her birthday. 

In 2011, the love story wedding of the Royals, Prince William and Kate Middleton was accompanied by the beautiful selected wedding march song, “Love Divine All Loves Excelling” written by Charles Wesley on Christian perfection, which described the motivation in her heart to God for all of humanity. The song was so passionately riveting to; a song found to be so compelling, it inspired her poetry name Lovie Divine.
