When the cake is good, the bowl is GOODER! You know you wanna lick that bowl! Why not leave some on the spoon... you know you want to! So ... go ahead! Don’t wait til everybody’s gone! Own, and be known for licking the bowl... lick that bowl!
DON’T STOP LICKING THE BOWL
For the child in me, the child in you,
days of chocolate cake for two;
and no matter how we flowers bloom,
leave a little on the spoon...
and when our stories are often told,
our heads gray, our hearts are gold,
like fragrant gardens now in bloom,
our legacies are left there in the room,
and no matter how primped or dignified,
our nails be done, our hairs be dyed,
Let the gossip be good but truthfully told,
that we never stopped licking the bowl!
