I believe in oceans
because I read
I read that they are green, and gray, or blue,
amethyst when daylight packs its cloudy bags
I believe in oceans
that they are more than waves and water
that there are beings who breathe inside them
plankton that drift in the current
algae, seagrass that wave to invisible companions
jellyfish, dangerous and translucent--
I believe in these.
Giant clams, who slam their engraved doors
on breakfast,
Phosphorescent jellyfish, undulating their many legs.
I have mused on the brittleness of crabs
and whales so colossal
that a planet might have swum by.
I tread brokenly on the constant earth
bruising when I fall
gulping the uncolored air
anxious for the future
believing in oceans.
The chair sits empty on the alter floor
Its arms holding memories unseen
Once carrying prayers, uplifting souls
Now a silent witness waiting in sacred stillness
A core hollowed where mercy stood
Longs for the return of the humility of Christ
A muted longing, poised for grace
Where absence rests seeping out into Alberti’s space
The alter listens as prayers of devotion rise
Filling the void with hope
Holiness prepares to pour back in
Like dawn returning after the thinning tortured night
Fullness shall dwell where emptiness reigns
Strength flowing upon the embroided papal cushion
The sun brushes the valley of the nave
Rosy light spills a quiet promise
Into the incense filled smoky sadness
A renewing earth breathing words still unspoken
Is alive in prayer
Lifting promises beyond the veil of death
Into the warming morning air
Incessantly it trods and plods
perpetual the pendulum.
So long before the abbey bells
tolled and told of hours passing
before the ticks and tocks of clocks
or shadows crept with solstice gods
no one to worship at its start
that knew not of a perfect love.
The kindest heart left drowned in tears
and wrapped in gross deformity,
yet sheltered by cathedral walls
in disrepair as much as he.
'til Esmerelda's gentle hand,
he knew no love, just hate and scorn
and like the brand from tempered flame,
it's burning love that made him strong.
So like the edifice was he,
an ugly house that held God's love
and Quasimodo's lonely heart
who'd toll the bells that silence hears.
Then in the end he found her dead
and sacrificed his mortal life
to sleep with one who truly gave
the only love he'd ever known.
Interred, yet not forsaken souls,
whose bones became entangled vines
that turned to dust when first exposed,
then blew to heaven ~ found in time...
Thanks, this scribe must say,
Grateful we woke up today,
Let's rise with joyful smiles,
God blesses us across the miles,
Seeking God's wisdom, no less,
Trusting divine plan, no stress,
God, hope we can all still pray,
Guide Earth's city of God someday,
Sent us Jesus, holy preacher,
Holy Spirit, our best teacher,
Grace sparks us, staying alive,
Thanks, God, our faith can thrive,
God loves His mortals anyway,
Even when the flock turn away,,
Praising His power, no need to fret,
Thanking awesome God, our best bet.
Families, friends, neighbors, communities,
living in the land of liberty.
A nation easy to divide,
fed by smears, seduced by lies.
Emotions worn like fragile sleeves,
hatred finds a place to breathe.
A sickness spreads, unseen but loud,
echoed through the media cloud.
Even when the facts aren’t true,
they comfort those who always knew.
We fracture more with every feud,
distrust becomes our daily mood.
Arrogance floats through the air,
ignorance tangled everywhere.
We elect with hope, then watch despair,
do they serve, or do they stare?
Freedom to vote, a hollow ring
when sides refuse to shift or swing.
You speak your mind, you risk the cost,
mocked, dismissed, your meaning lost.
We’re growing colder, more confined,
trapped in one-dimensional minds.
Opposition seen as threat,
truth becomes what we forget.
And when debate no longer lives,
hatred is the truth we give.
I’m not a Saint
Or hero of the faith
No martyr I
Honestly
I’m afraid to die
But I do believe
And I have received
Grace from on high
And that’s enough
Still I often struggle
To believe and understand
How I fit in God’s true plan
And what to say and how to say it
What to do and how to play it
When to stay and when to go
How to let a rival know
That I’m trying to forgive
And live the life I’m supposed to live
Each day anew I rise and try
To be the man to be the guy
Who walks the walk
Much more than talk
But I still have fears
And still have tears
That my little faith is just too small
Never strong enough at all
Tiny as the smallest seed
But I’m reminded
That it’s not me
That does the work
Of change you see
My tiny faith in Him alone
Is strong enough to atone
For my weakness
And human flesh
For my tiny faith I’m blessed
RAISED AND SQUARED WITH GOD
Lying parallel,
Pleased and thankful for today:-
Perpendicular:
Squaring my service to God,
With love labors to others:-
What do they wish to see,
A fleeting soul,
hanged under the Gumtree
Papers are all you know,
but never final set of eyes
blinded by faith I see glows
I bleed worse than a heresy
not who I dreamt to be.
I wish the knew & the how...
I have found that person, gentle and true,
A soul that feels like a dream come through.
In their silence, I hear a song,
In their presence, the world feels strong.
For the very first time, my prayers I hAve spoken,
To God for someone, with words unbroken.
Not for riches, not for fame,
But for this heart that calls their name.
Every glance feels warm, divine,
Like stars decided with me to shine.
Every touch is soft, a guiding flame,
Love that cherishes everything...
I have found that person, now I see,
The missing half that was meant for me.
Not by chance, not by design,
But by God’s blessing, forever mine
I want to hear your voice
Not by will but by choice
I seek your guidance
For on you alone is where
I place my reliance,
Alliance, radical defiance.
I want to hear your voice
Above all voices that ever pieced
My ear I seek your final word what
Is it your declare?
I wish to hear your voice
To calm the turmoil of inner
dialogue and rumination.
I want to hear your voice,
the divine melody that guides my footsteps
Your words are the calm to all storms
Protection from external devastation.
I want to hear your voice
A light house and beacon
among all dark forces that
may come against me.
I want to hear your voice, the gentle thunder
that awakens my soul from slumber,
I want to hear your voice calling me to purpose beyond the noise of this world.
I want to hear your voice, the sacred song that resonates
in the silence of my heart,
I want to hear your voice reminding me I am never alone,
That within your words I find my true home
"With you is the sorce of life"
The sky, the land, the sea
The wind, the rain, the sun
The very breath in me.
I once asked the question,
Why you yourself did not descend...
If you were to die
The universe would end!
Once you raised your Son from death
You gave him immortality.
You planned to grant him kingship
For all eternity.
Although his rulership began
In the year 1914,
The physical evidence of his reign
Is still in future to be seen.
Like you, this kind and caring king
Rules from the realms above.
In harmony with your will
He governs your earth with love.
His heart will glow, his eyes will shine
As he reverses the effects of sin,
While he brings to full fruition
The vision you saw to begin.
This mighty king Christ Jesus
Will soon bring wars to an end.
He won't be a distant entity
But forever our close friend.
(Psalm 36:9, Romans 6:9, Psalm 46:9)
I am the Malkizedek, Priest of The Most High,
AHAYAH ASHAH AHAYAH,
I was brought forth before the sons of God,
to administer to The One whom resides in eternity,
created for a single purpose,
to expound the laws of light, truth, justice and love.
Made in secret as a divine tool,
that the One Creator might have one with whom,
to share the secrets of his heart,
His ALL POWERFUL NAME, laws of righteousness and deepest desires,
He wants nothing more than to love His children,
and for them to be happy and free.
Fashioned in mystery known only to Him,
in secret i have come, to expound His law.
Throughout the ages, since before time,
that his purpose might be realized.
For to Him nothing is impossible,
even the redemption of satan.
This is why He tested Job,
Job was an example that samael might learn and accept his fathers light and love.
And know this, all shall be redeemed,
this is The Fathers will,
and He is so great, He shall achieve it.
Jahshua is the Christ, He is the father Himself,
come in the body of a man,
to atone for the sins of mankind.
Blessed be the name of Ja.

Faith — a sudden Remedy —
Applied — without a Scar —
The Patient wonders — if it heals —
Or magnifies — the War —
The Candle — shows a narrow Room —
But darkens — all the Sky —
The Needle — points a certain North —
Yet trembles — if you try —
Belief — a timid Architect —
Constructs — without a Plan —
And when the Roof — collapses —
No Tenant — but the Man —
Faith is a fine Invention —
To satisfy the Blind —
But those — who seek a larger Proof —
Must frame a sterner Mind —
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and soul,
Let not your clever thoughts lead you astray.
Lean not on self to reach your final goal,
But seek His voice and wait on Him each day.
He knows the past, the now, and what's to be,
And clears the plans that never served you right.
He breathes His will, a fresh divine decree,
To guide your steps with purpose, truth, and light.
He placed you here for such a time as this,
Ordained your path before the world began.
Let Him reset your clock with holy bliss -
The Lord of time, of space, of every plan.
In all your ways, acknowledge Him as King,
And health and joy and peace your life shall bring.
Divine fire glowing with hope
radiates pardon
burning transgression's filth
freeing hearts from guilt.
Revival fire of worship
warms toward service
as faith blazes to reach-out
souls from hell's fury.
