I saw....
Two black crystal balls
Rimmed with white
Reflecting an indefinable emotion
Glowing with some intense passion

Riveting,
Entrancing!

Two eyes of oceanic depths
Relaying the most intimate message
What did they commune?
PERHAPS- they said silently- "I love you" (?)

So piercing were those eyes
That I couldn't stand their electric glare
From those eyes, rose the Promethean fire
Glistening like molten gold,
At once sending out,
The light of a hundred galaxies.

In the fire bursting through those eyes,
My body was turned into a conflagration
And my soul rippled like fermented wine.

Why didn’t I respond instantly
PERHAPS, I was so stunned,
That my body couldn’t follow the sense’s urging

An ocean was stirring within
Whose whirls could never again be tamed
In those flooding pools,
Let me cast my fishing net.

What catch, I can expect?
PERHAPS, the boon and bliss of a lifetime!

Blood Honey

I will wear you like Jackie did
let you soak my hands
cradle you, soft & warm

The world wasn't made for us

Heywah

Any god that creates beings to serve them is a slaver and a robber, and therefore a false god.
Surely deep within the heart of humankind, lays a God of grace, freedom and love.
That watches and sees all and where possible expounds it's grace, freedom and love,
through and to those who are receptive. This is the one true God.
This great God of grace, freedom and love whom I shall simply call She,
does not require sacrifice, does not create servants or slaves.
She is the infinite source of all and simply gives of her wealth freely,
to any one who will accept her, She alone is Almighty, Most High, I AM.
I love Her.
From Her comes life and to Her it returns.
From Her comes love and to Her it returns.
She is the foundation and the source of all things.
She is eternal and everlasting.
When we surrender fully to Her, we become Her and yet in losing ourselves we become ourselves.
Heywah. Selah.
It's not about obedience, servitude or slavery.
It's about co-operation, grace, freedom and love.
Love is a gift that is meant to be given and in giving the more becomes the greater. Selah.

Evensong

They say eyes are
a memoir, stories stolen from memory
that may or may not exist—but either way
iris plays storyteller.

At the bottom of my glass,
a pair of ocean eyes in brandy—
searches for an identity.

	Nothing
but a blurred face with no features
—perhaps no stories ever lived to be stolen
though the shape of shadowy tears
are oddly clear—they consume the least amount of light
then drool them out, uneven,

like trembling breaths of an old firefly—

Brings my mind to this
long summer, air reeks of damp, molded plums
even in a marble kitchen: always rancid,
though pores exhale wispy musk and oak—
A scent fitting
for a firefly reaching for summer’s tail,
behind it death’s haggard palm.
His voice sibilant, mocking
its effort: as when summer ends
life ends shortly after.

Pupils follow the wavering ghost of firefly—
stars grayish azure, grasping anything gravity can pull
to keep a lone soul companied down the road:
		My friend, come along,
there’s no need to fight tomorrow.

But physics means nothing to the candlelight midair.
Weary as it is—

summer will die chasing summer.

Premium Member Shades Of Love

Love has many shades --
the methods we color our
feelings. Often giving them
faces and names. Times, the
mornings, afternoons and
evenings -- Which are more
the Passionate? Only Love
can decide.

Pomegranate

Pomegranate

Careful, tentative and delicate tips shiver over the forgiving skin
Shell barring the bloody body of the fruit
Only condemned to,
consumption

Bruising without protest
Its sweetness not asked for - only expected

Though some things are more beautiful broken

I have found that person

I have found that person, gentle and true,
A soul that feels like a dream come through.
In their silence, I hear a song,
In their presence, the world feels strong.

For the very first time, my prayers I hAve spoken,
To God for someone, with words unbroken.
Not for riches, not for fame,
But for this heart that calls their name.

Every glance feels warm, divine,
Like stars decided with me to shine.
Every touch is soft, a guiding flame,
Love that cherishes everything...

I have found that person, now I see,
The missing half that was meant for me.
Not by chance, not by design,
But by God’s blessing, forever mine

Evergreen

Evergreen

There will be one last word
I will say it to you

There will be one last sunrise
We will watch it together

There will be one last road
We will walk it together

There will be one last meal
We will share it together

There will be one last drink
We will toast it together

There will be one last breath
I will take it with you by my side

It's Easy When You Know

I still write poems in my head
On paper, maybe not
But if you ever wanted one
I'd write it on the spot
See I just have to think of you
To get the words to flow
Then watch them turn to poetry
It's easy when you know

Premium Member Loving You As Promised

Today I had to question myself,
Why it is im still in love with you.
You have made it quite clear,
You and I are over and through.

Holding on the way i am hurts me,
And you act as if you don't care.
I look at you withe tears in my eyes,
You look at me with an empty stare.

Does it even matter to you at all?
That i will forever be holding on.
Or that the love we once held
And our life we shared are gone.

You say you will never come home
And I need to grow used to being alone.
Understand each day since you left
This sadness inside me has grown.

Please do this one favor that I ask,
While you're living life remember me.
And be assured I'm still right here
Loving you as i promised I'd be.

He was calling me through the years.
He sat with me as I cried all my tears.
He was always near by my side,
And now I know it, from the inside.

His face always makes me feel at peace.
He always made my blessings increase.
His essence is growing within my mind,
As I realize to all and myself, I must be kind.

He forgives sins because he understands
All of the differents ways of life in all lands.
He is guiding me now towards the Light,
His essence shall make my soul so bright.

His images, although various, feel familiar,
As though I've known him in past lives prior.
He will be with me my entire life and beyond,
He will gift me a uniquely special bond.

In My Mirror

I walked through storms with nothing but fire,
Dreams grew heavy, but lifted me higher.
ALL MY SHADOWS BECAME TEACHERS OF LIGHT,
I turned my bruises into courage at night.

I carried burdens that bent my back,
Still built bridges where the ground was crack.
BENEATH THESE HILLS, MY ROOTS HELD STRONG,
Even in silence, my spirit sang long.

The world tried caging what I could be,
But destiny whispered: “Fred, you are free.”
COURAGE REQUIRES WOUNDS TO FIND ITS SONG,
I wore the pain and still walked on.

From protector to leader, I carved my name,
Through trials and scars, I mastered the game.
DESTINY IS WRITTEN IN UNSEEN HANDS,
Yet I rise daily, to claim my own lands.

I AM THE ARCHITECT OF MY OWN CAGE,
Building freedoms eternal, from age to age.

Paradise Wind

The wind carries your name today—
whispers it through my ribs,
fills the hollow
where breath once flowed.

Is this you
riding the morning currents,
or just my chest
mistaking echo for arrival?

From distant shores
starlings lift and scatter,
their wings dark against the sky.
You ask why warmth abandons my skin?

Love is water leaving the body—
drop by drop
until only the vessel
remembers fullness.

Who opens their lungs before lightning strikes?
Who breathes deep
into a storm's eye
and expects to stay whole?

Your presence moves through smaller beauties
the way wind bends wheat—
everything golden,
everything changed.

My exhale trembles,
tastes your name
on its way to the waiting sky.

In these paradise winds,
between my last breath
and the horizon's quiet answer,
I almost catch you, almost become
the space where air learns touch.

Premium Member All That I Have to Give

When I look back,
I see loneliness and an unfeeling heart.
Then I fell in love,
that's when my life truly starts.

I didn't think it was possible
to love someone so much
that you would almost die
just to feel her touch.

I can't imagine what would happen
or how I would survive
if you took your love away;
I could not keep my heart alive.

I can't explain the happiness
or joy that I have found
now that you've come into my life,
my world is safe and sound.

I wish I could give back to you
all that you've given me,
but the only thing I have to give
is to my heart...the key.

Remember This

All the things I said to you
Were from the deepest depths inside
Count each and every one as true
From all but you those things I hide
And should it be my life spans long
Your cozy cabin in the wood
Is where I'll wait to hear your song
Until I close my eyes for good
