To mark her 100th year, Joyce Johnson's book, Lifetime Memories in Verse, has been released by Publisher Gary Drury and is now available for purchase on Amazon.com.
The first 18 entries to the "My Place" Rispetto contest are all wonderful and several have already been highlighted as contenders for the top spots. I'm truly enjoying learning about each of your special places.
While there have been no rhyme problems found yet, "howmanysyllables.com" has identified a few poems with lines that are either 10 or 12 syllables, instead of the required 11.
Since I place entries into a Microsoft Word file to check spelling and grammar, please let me know if you make changes in your poems by writing "Edited" beneath it. I will look for that before awarding final placements.
