The Church
The truth will be revealed to us today
How we belittled the foundation of faith
Even as we put names to denominations

Church of god in living being not building
House of god are we the chosen people
United in faith by the gift of the holy spirit
Redeemed by his blood and his sacrifice
Christ showed us how to be Christians
His Church is stronger than the church...

The Beggars Legislation
By David J Walker

The beggars dream standing up right
On the next street corner

Knowing how things ought to be
Knowing safe places to sleep and eat

A nation of their own
A kingdom unto themselves

Taxing the merciful in denominations of
Street-smart wealth

In turn praying for the souls of all those
Who owe it all to someone else...

??????? If one man’s faith Differs, this brings about separation and differences You once promised me an eternity for as the hour draws near, the shadow fades silent, soulless If I don’t believe, in the doctrine Of your faith there is only panic And your creed doctrine says I AM NOT SAVED

I have copies of the bible of many denominations,
along with the many teachings of hinduism and buddhism,
and judaism as well as a copy of the quran,
but I am not at all a theologian or a religious man.
I am not so much a man of faith as I am a man of science,
but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't have any of this literature in my home.
I do find their images to be very beautiful and their poetry very moving....

Premium Member Ode To Caren's Mother
Sure she was proud of her sprite-like daughter
Must have been hard to keep a straight face
When she, as a mother, knew she oughter

From her collection of unusual pets
To all those unique children she had to test
From her inspired canvas creations
To her poems on all topics and denominations

Sure she was proud of her wonderful daughter
Whose wonderful mother is now up with saintly others...

Politicians will be the end of me.
To cynical now to trust their lie!
To angry now to listen to:
  Continuous disharmony,
  Pointed conversations,
  Loose denominations.
  Finding flourishes,
  As the mouth,
  Drivels,
  Contagonistic,
  Voyeuristic,
  Egotistic,
  Unrealistic!
Politicians will be the end of me!
  Polecats in harmony,
  Conversations without relations!
  Christian living,
  Without forgiving!

Bless your heart — Southern Sugah’
Pecan pies love clouds,
smothered and smothered in peaks
— fresh whipped cream, Darlin’
Sinful recipe —
sweet lil’ hymn.
Ma’am!

From Wikipedia: The Bible Belt is an informal region in the Southern United States in which socially conservative evangelical Protestantism plays a strong role in society and politics, and Christian church attendance across the denominations is generally higher than the nation's average....

No Longer the Victim
Associates come by the dozens
Friends accumulate in fewer denominations
From a gentle hand, to a revenge fueled fist,
we learn sturn but valuable lessons
Influenced by network television,
attempting to embrace every individual that approaches
What is untold, is the story of disloyalty
Preoccupied with being accepted
I think it's time we live free of consequences--
Free from any burden tethered to our ankles
Break the shackles that confine us to modern day society...
