Light Verse
You
"you"
with light from sun and moon I see you
between angelic melodies I hear you
with a summer breeze I feel you
between air fresh and new I need you
with a light feather you touch me
in sync we dace and fly the sky
never looking back never asking why
always each morning I love you

Waiting Endlessly
Waiting in a quiet place
Sitting in a silent space
Pacing at a restless pace
Waiting, waiting and waiting
Waiting in a quiet place
Craving for a worthy case
Racing at a restless race
Waiting, waiting and waiting
Waiting in a quiet place
Picking at my pretty lace
Swimming like a restless dace
Here I sit again; waiting...

Spring
carried on a gentile wind
rolling on its way
and with a flutter of his hand

as he strides above their roots
only to dace away again
and to return another year...

as you pass the stream full of dace.
Streaming behind a shawl of lace
do not sniff the handkerchief of mace.
Watching deer disappear without trace
as they vanish into the mists of space.
When finally you reach your base
examine carefully your case.
Now stare tragedy in the face
you have won life's race....

Umbrella
I took a walk today, the sky with angry billowing clouds, with the trumpet to call the rain,
with me and my umbrella, watching the lighting dace across the sky. It starts to pitter patter
upon my umbrella slowly, I reach out and catch it at my finger tips, I marvel at what lives
little pleasures are. I toss away my burden to be swept upon the wind and tip my head back
arms stretched wide, I watch my whole life whizzing by and think ......damn i dropped my
umbrella....
