My Own North Star

My Own North Star

A quiet hum, a gentle breeze,
No urgent calls, no need to please.
The world outside can spin and sway,
I find my peace in my own way.

No echoing steps upon the floor,
No voice to seek beyond my door.
Just silent thoughts, a mind at ease,
Unburdened by dependencies.

The path I walk, it's mine alone,
No guiding hand,

Your North Star

What is your North Star,
Your moral compass
Which all your oughts and shoulds
And not good enoughs revolve around?

Every time we see the world 
Either as good or needing to be better
We’re judging by an internal compass
It has taken a lifetime to form.

And it’s a compass 
Influenced by and expressing
Everything we have ever learned
Everything we have ever

Here we are to my North Star the song

The guide to everything out there 
And when we lost touch
I lost my compass

I sealed the wound with fire, 
And trudged on with desire
Trying to recreate what we had, 
The effortless close bond, over time becoming sad

People did not meet me half way 
They did not grasp

Ironic that finding our way
In the deep pitch black of night
Is truer than anything we can find by day.

As the world spins on its axis
The Pole Star remains
The guiding light.

Eight stars then show the way
The central and Big Dipper seven
Even a child can see.

Thus the ubiquitous eight pointed

Beautiful End

You are the dream,
I dared to see,
albeit knowing my somber eyes
might be daydreaming for a while.

You are the song,
I dared to sing,
hoping the world won't comprehend
your imperfect lyrics the way I did.

You, calm as evening breeze,
I let you touch my soul,
when mundane days of life
made me look for left pieces of peace,

All stars revolving around them

North Star of My Soul

Oh, faith,

You, North Star of my soul 

That helps me navigate over the 

Dark waters of doubt, uncertainty, and 

Skepticism,

I implore you to guide my heart through 

The perilous reefs of ignorance and of falsity,

Towards 

The serene shores of knowledge and veracity,

Where

The sun of our Lord's truth, eternally, shines!

The Space In My Heart

to see me,
is to remember you.
to touch me,
is to feel you.
to forget me,
is to let you go.
you live within me
and to lose you
is to lose me. 

the way we looked at eachother,
the flashes of whites and grey,
the hours unnoticed,
the rains that we missed,
the poems that were sung,
and the love that was lost.

Come to me on rainy days,
with rainbows in your hair.
Come to me in many ways,
in weather foul or fair.
Come to me in Broadway lights
and strut upon your stage.
Come to me in big sound bites,
let words run off the page.
Come to me on windy days,
when banshees howl and scream.
Come to me in silent ways,
like the whisper

Status Quo

Lone traveller in a danger zone
Blades slashes in a place she calls home
Fixing scars oppressing her thin skin
Stretching arms for a spark to fit in

With a frail shield she walks her way
Lids  begging tears to stay away 
‘Nay’ they say rolling down for a kiss
Weak, tired and and in search of a bliss

Stingers, venoms,

Coquettish

shadowed wane moon smiles
eye-catching incandescent 
north star smitten ebbs

Shining so bright !
Even Though Lonely,
Still Giving Light!

Sweet North Star,
Standing Still Alone!
Even Though So Far,
Still As white As Snow!

Sweet North Star,
You Hardly Ever Cry!
Even If You Cry,
You Cry Tears Of Shooting Stars Light!

Sweet North Star,
You Are A Star Of Life!
Without You The Sailors Won't Have Might!
