Emergent light

The rain falls in a cascade,
myriad droplets dancing—
a lilt of rain slithers,
serpentine around my skin—
a whisper of hope in the dusk.

In the garden,
the lunar sky still shines.
Through the nebula’s haze,
a new star is born,
a spark of phosphorus glowing,
guiding a way out of the dirt,
like the spark in my own heart.

A Stylish Glam for A Jam

A silver platter,
It is my sudden clutter,
To spread my bread with butter,
I even use the cutter,
By posting a letter,
I find something better,
I would set my dessert later,
I don't let it into a gutter,
I am not  a chatter,
I am like a trader,
I am not a sitter,
I'm in a jitter,
For a more beautiful flower,

Order and chaos within a hint
That taut poise in ambiguity 
A flash of insight in raw tint


The known in the unknown tangle
That shows an unseen point of view
Sore dilemma in triangle
Confronts conflict in visual cue

She is queen of her own destiny

Her spirit is indomitable 

Her eyes aflame with passion 

Her warrior heart beats to its own drum

She will not just survive-

Emergent

The wait I must withstand-

I have a sickly smile and poison in my hand. 

I stand strong in the middle of this emergency. 

That started weeks ago with my fear spinning urgently. 

I feel a happy dizziness. 

As I am stricken with voices and hisses. 

As the doctors mill around. 

I can feel these twitches

Death Valley

What lives deep within?
Which thoughts, what vitality?
For from these must we emerge,
As there is little without
Except the baleful wind
Whining across bleached dunes.

Death is a void of expression
Stark, barren, arid.
Mere rocks scoured by flash flood
Twisted and gnarled;
Gravestones of salt extrusion
From emergent times.

What life there is in Death Valley
Lives underground and waits
For night or brief rain;
But then

Emergent Property

Consciousness is the scintillating blaze
alive on a smoldering log,
a flame emergent from complex interplays
of biology and environment.

Consciousness is greater than the cumulative 
elements from which it is produced,
a roving free-form swirling cloud,
a wandering storm over the latest landscape.

Consciousness is always emergent 
like an undulating flock of birds.
like the windswept grains of sand dunes.

Apt the free flow of light that heals,
Now is the time to discern grace.
Etch a prompt show of love you feel,
Meet cause for mime to sparkle trace;
Emerge with poise that honours peace,
Rise to dare brave the hurts that teach;
Glimpse your firm choice that whispers ease,
Embrace to save what love can reach;
Note plain and clear how

Sense
A stern way
The present tense
That now and here plays


Know
In fond play
The lovely show
That circles this day


Live
In the light
With what you give
That brings healing sight


Dance
On the dream
Where your fond trance
Strings delicious streams.


Feel
A deep cheer
Cluster new thrill
When love draws you near.


Chance
Upon fate
In the grand dance
Beyond yonder gate


Quest
Here and now
For lavish fest
That fits you somehow


Style
Bright warm wit
In wholesome

Emergent

Pursue the spark of fragrant wit,
To make your mark with style that fits.


Watch wonder frame such vibrant sighs,
As poise now names a perfect high.


Emerge from sleep as conscious feel,
Wise worth lives deep in buoyant thrill.


Sense how the light can tell of touch,
Aware you sight that craft moves much.


From stillness see how senses seek,
Let go and

In the clear light
Love mellows sight


Here on the verge
Watch love emerge


Faith sculpts fond scope
Watch love spark hope


Purge then sad grief
Make sorrow brief


Let happy style
A lasting smile


Feel how you feel
For love now heals


A simple touch
Can heal so much


Bloom where you room
Watch joy now groom


Embrace each find
With peace of mind

Growth of the Emergent Virus a Prototype More Lifeless

9 billion years is nothing if not but a beginning
For the virus is in disguise
Not quite alive, almost life, a prototype 
Lives in a mask, a husk, inanimate, parasitic

Growth of the emergent proto life forged in the void
Viruses can not live on their own  
A host is necessary in empty places
Even is the depths

Words shape the gaze of thoughts that surge,
Voice weaves the maze of vivid urge;
Poise frees the craze where echoes flood,
Buzz thrills the daze that hurl and merge.
