porch renovation confuses mud dauber

frenzied mud dauber
porch railings are no longer
we are the killers

he bores hole in post
angry about the railings
what will they call home

will he sound alarm
will army wasps come to fight
dejected he leaves

Her orange ways disturb me
Perturb me, confuse me,
Make me crazy

Her shrouded secrets
Concern me, keep me at a distance
Shut me down soundly and I am her mother!

Her striped attitude worries me
I fear what I do not understand.

So many things in our technology
confuse me – my phone particularly!
Worst of all, I cannot text properly.
Although I’m able to type speedily,
I’m having the greatest difficulty
with my cell phone’s keyboard, which is tiny!
My nails are longer now, so awkwardly
