Contest Description
What to Submit? Did you ever stop to think if the real ending to Goldie Locks was her arrest for breaking and entering? Did you ever imagine your own real ending for any of the children's stories or rhymes that we all hear growing up? I sometimes wonder what any of those stories look like in real life. For this contest I need the rest of the story.
I have an example that I wrote you can look at. My example examines "Jack and Jill". Jack and Jill (poetrysoup.com) Your rest of the story can examine any well known nursery rhyme or fable. Here are my rules for you to do really well in this contest.
1. If you put the fable or the nursery rhyme reference in the notes area, that would be really bad because I won't be able to see it while I am judging, so please DON'T. I need at least the name of the original that you are finishing where I can see it.
2. Long is very bad and it won't place.
3. Do not make it political, this is children's story/nursery rhyme time and politcs has no place near this area.
4. Complex verbage is also very bad so don't use it.
