- the rest of the story for Hickory Dickory Dock - Hickory dickory dock, The mouse wound the clock, At half past twelve The clock said it was one And so the clock was wrong Hickory dickory dock The mouse wound the clock, With each twist it smiled, Knowing this clock would decide, When its cheese would arrive! Hickory dickory dock The mouse wound the clock, Gaining over an hour, So the cheese wouldn’t sour, Hickory dickory dock!

Dear Regina, your imaginative twist on is delightfully whimsical! The playful narrative of the mouse and the clock adds depth to a beloved nursery rhyme. Your poem is a charming with all the magic found in storytelling. It left me smiling, envisioning the mouse's clever antics. - Blessings, Daniel

A fun take on the story poem, Gina. Enjoyed the rest of the story--you read the mouse's thoughts brilliantly.
