Looking for the Sunshine... - Jerri Ward's Blog

It has been a while since I have been on the Soup.  I think of all of you often and miss the love and support that is here.  I have a lot of feelings in my heart, I just can't seem to get them on paper.  My 49 yr. old brother died May 4th.  It was tragic and very unexpected.  He left behind two beautiful daughters who are 11 and 14 yrs. old.  I miss him so much.  I stay busy taking care of things for his estate and being there for my parents and my nieces.  I don't get to the beach very much anymore, but I posted a few of the sunsets that I have taken for you to hopefully enjoy.  When I have more time, I will try to spend more time here. Please know that each one of you has touched my life in a special.

Jerri Ward Date: 6/12/2011 1:24:00 PM Thank you all so much for your caring and compassion. Sunsets excite me like nothing else. Andrea, the one with the blue is a new one. We have a North Carolina Maritime Museum opening on July 4th. My brother donated his time and talent many hours to help it to be opened. They had a preopening and honored him with a plaque. I also donated two of my sunset photos in memory of my brother. I am going to try and volunteer there. I will try to check in more often. Jerri Login to Reply
