the suns shining why am i

the sun's shining beautifully outside, so why am i in a forest of clouds?  it is so deep i can barely breathe.  it feels like I have been poured all over with cement and painted black.  oh to know what it is like to laugh, to feel free of pain and woe,  i missed out on that, don't even know what it would be like.  i can't even imagine it in my wildest dreams, so i write to try and find what i see that others have.  the lightness to be carefree, laughter like you really mean it.  oh t'would be so nice, but i will probably never see the day on this earth.

hi there Jerri--my heart goes out to you--I think we all have gone through some sort of depression at some point in our lives, though I can only fathom what you are going through--maybe it would really help to seek professional help so that you can pinpoint exactly what is causing you to feel this way-- but for now, yes I think writing can be an avenue for that release--talk to a friend about it-- it might help--and of course pray--hope this helps even just a bit---nikko :)

Both these ladies gave you great advice, Jerri. My hubbie suffers from depression, but I am always shy to reccommend people seek help without really knowing them. Anyway, sometimes that is all you need, good medication! I really did mean it though. If you were in my town, I'd pick you right up and take you to a show! I hope to see your Bio real soon. Keep blogging, ok? By the way, your poetry is GREAT. You really know how to write. Luv, Andrea

Dear Jerri. Oh I am so sorry. You must have a desperate case of clinical depression and I hope you are being treated for it. I truly don't know what that would be. I have been sad but never depressed. Linda Marie steered you right. Turn to God. He is always there for you, but he also works through human hands so please see a doctor. Love, Joyce

The LIGHT of Jesus Christ .. is a great place to start ... Jerri .. doors open wide when u give your life to HIM and many Soupers are believers ...just look at the comments on their poetry or read their inspirational poetry and u will find them.. John Freeman, Rick Parise, Susan Palli, Brian Strand, the list goes on and on.. myself too .. I have posted many spiritual poems to feed the spirit being inside us all.. Carol Brown another great source of wisdom on here.. this will get u started ..find your wings.. then FLY.. with luv from the "Sweetheart" in Hawaii... AlohA..

Jerri, this is in stark contrast to the blog i just posted.Seeing it on my way off here today, it made me feel bad for you. If you were here, I would take you to see a movie with me. I always go alone to movies. I have no extended family where I am, and no real friends where I am, just many acquaintances at my job and at my church. Reach out to the people here, Jerri. NOt knowing your cicumstances, I can't give much other advice. LUv, Andrea
