Blessings Greater When its Darkest!

i wonder how I keep on going.  my head has been busting open since thurs. night.  it feels like someone has shoved a 2x4 through it.  the pain just won't stop.  along with all of the other pain that i deal with i just want to give up some days, then god will give me a blessing when i am at my lowest point.  i guess he knows that is when i need it the most.  you know that when you are on the mountain you can't really fully enjoy a blessing because you are too busy enjoying the mountaintop experiencence.  i think you have to really be down in the valley to fully enjoy a blessing.  that is when i really enjoy my blessings the most.  i guess because i am in the valley so much, god brings me more blessings that way.  i would much rather be on the mountaintop, but i haven't seen many mountaintops since i was 12.  it's been a long time.  i don't give up hope though.

I totally agree with you sentiment Jerri, I believe God don't test us beyond our abilities and in the midst of all the chaos, hurt and confusion, he carries us or gives us a word to go on..

Jerri, please take everyone's advice and get yourself checked out too. Headaches are a sign of something not right. There is a very good chance it is physical or chemical. How geat that you realize that being in the valley you can more enjoy the blessings of the mountaintop experiences. this is how I feel when I have had a bout with my neck or back pain that I get from time to time. When it subsides, I feel so wonderful to feel almost normal again!! Luv,Andrea

Jerri u are never alone .. always someone to agree in prayer with u.. if we don't have valleys we cannot enjoy the time on the mountain tops... so God knows your pain and suffering ..he endured it first for us on Calvary.. believe He will relieve your pain and it will be yours.. read the book of Phillipians in the Word.. its awesome.. with luv from the "Sweetheart" in Hawaii..
