To Whom?

To whom this may concern, Which means this goes unread, Unless one of sympathetic nature, Takes to heart what is said, And truth be told here today, That this man's heart broke once again, Yet both love and hate reside in him, Against this hypocrite world we live in, Why do we strive towards what we can't achieve? Only maybe to be recognized after death, Creating religions on the grounds of hope, Still not knowing when we pass what's left, Why can't we accept this, why must we grow? Only to poison our air, sea, and land, Slaughtering beauty in our lifetime, Which is too short for our any 'good' man, Why judge one another for any reason, Being the epitome of you reap what you sow, Inevitably lighting the fuse to treason, Going off what a few big wigs know, Who's to say they are in any way right? Controlling our lives with a push of a button, Only like us, to give in to the same white light, And back to the beginning of life, Nothing.
