My Favorite Dish

My (Easy and Delicious) Favorite Dish If you like ground beef, cheese, and potatoes too, I’ve got a casserole dish just right for you. It’s fast and easy, just like A, B, C., and the steps for making it are only three. Step one: Cook onions with some beef (a pound will do). When the beef is brown, you’re ready for step two. Into a baking pan the beef needs to be placed. Tator tots and a large can of cream mushroom soup give taste! A tator tot, in case you do not know, has a French fry’s taste, but it’s a cubed potato. About an inch long a half inch wide, A soft plump tot tastes yummy baked or fried. Mix the soup and bag of frozen tots into the dish. Soon enough you’re going to taste something quite delish! Step three: Atop the casserole, spread shredded cheese (a lot!). Then bake on high heat till the tots are golden, and serve hot. I make this for my students, and no matter from which nation, Each one wants more of this beef, soup, tot, and cheese creation! For David Williams' "My Favourite Dish Poetry Contest"

Sounds like a yummy dish and will have to try it. Love the fast and easy dishes. I used my new crock pot 3 times this week doing different meat dishes. It is a large one that the kids bought me for Christmas. Cold weather today. love phyl

Sounds good Andrea. I do the same dish but I buy the three cheese potatos in the box. Two boxes mixed with the ground beef, some extra cheese, mushroom and onion and about three minutes before it's done add some Frenches fried onions on top. Now that's some good eatin'. Thanks for bringing this inexpensive meal to light. Yum Yum. Rockman

Andrea, I have already sold some of my books. They are easy to sell because they are photo books including my photography as well. I will have an Easter Poem paperbook out shortly. You are so right, very few publishers will market your bookS. I will have my website up and running by the end of next week. If you wanted to take a look it is: www.maureenlefanue.com. Have you tried putting your books on Amazon? God bless you in your selling endeavours. Who would have thought Utah? Big surprise to me. Love, Maureen :)

Andrea, I thank you for your kind comment. I don't write many metaphors. I promised God I would write for his glory. I didn't want to write poetry - it was his idea not mine! So I obeyed.... Loved your Favorite Dish. Your sonnet rhyming is magnificant! I'm starting to learn about all this 'learned' poetic stuff! God bless, Maureen :)

This sounds so delicious! I wish I had some on this cold and wet day, Andrea! I'll try it over the weekend, if this crazy weather would settle down. Great job as usual, girl! Best wishes for the Winners' List. I've been too busy to do most of the contests but I'm enjoying the entries. Love, annalise

I appologize for being so harsh with the plagerism issue, was just hurtful that you would use an idea to turn people on. we're all whores.

You describe it so well here. I'll bet it's loaded with calories. Usually, if it tastes good, it's fattening. The late Lou Costello described a diet as something where you can eat everything you don't like. I'll bet I like this dish.

Cute rhyme! I held onto my mom' Betty Crocker cooking card set (in an orangy red box with lid) and there's a recipe I enjoy but it takes hours to make. Steak strips are browned with onion and then slowly baked in an over for several hours til tender and then the dish is topped with thinly sliced potato, kind of like a brothy beefy scalloped potato dish. I like asit extra peppery. This one sounds as tasty and a lot simpler to prepare! :-) Best wishes in the contest. Looks winner to me
