When the Boss Yells, I Want To Dance
Sharp voices fade
when I close my eyes
so many dreams lie inside
he can’t see.
He can’t see
lingering lines
as they long for paper
and they long to be.
They long to be
poems and stories
and I hear music
and raise my arms.
And raising my arms
I want to swirl around the room
like a summer storm
so free to move
over open prairie land.

My Imagination Yells Write Write
My imagination yells write write write, or paint at least.
She is insistent, and worried, a concerned, noncompliant beast.
We need to do something! She argues. This sleeping is weird.
I have reached a point where slumber is nothing to be feared.
Still, like a three-year-old I do not want to take a nap.
It makes me feel old and

No One Yells Hey Hey Hey
Loading up on the holiday bear with gifts and the sleigh
Christmas elves said “you have to yell out ‘hey hey hey!’”
I thought it was “Snow! Snow! Snow!” the bear stated firmly.
His pants were too tight, and his junk was all squirmy.

Nells Bells - Saucy
Nell’s Bells
Bren's often to be found around at Nell’s
Who's bosoms dangle down like big church bells
To peals of delight
They go on all night
Whilst their neighbours cannot sleep for Nell's Yells.

When Mary Jo Yells Timber
Mary Jo's from the country, a real backwoods lass
Chops wood like a lumberjack they're not in her class
When Tot yells timber
You'd better be limber
Better run, don't stand there like a silly old ass

Yes Yesterday Yells By the Incomperable Poefree
YES YESTERDAY YELLS
Ah, but that was yesterday
Today God surveyed the universe as it is
And always was
and shall always be
seeking beauty beholden to no one the Lord hath created creatively
It was most shapely in form
Far from the norm
Rich in royalty and countenance

As New Year Yells
The people you meet today
Make your tomorrow
By uprooting ailing actions of yesterday
Weed away every seed of sorrow...
Plant light on darkness face.
For fellows to follow
Any time,any place,any race.
You deeds should be diamond to borrow
So your name shall conjure joyful tears
As time travel the of yelling years.
