After Clouds Depart

She thinned to vapour, blue as longing's edge,
while we searched skywards, calling her lost name.
Wind replied in whispers no one could catch–
just hollow notes strung on a frayed thread.
Now dusk repeats her gesture: palms upturned,
spilling light where her shadow once poured.
We drink the rain, still tasting her farewell.

While I sit lonesome at the water’s sprawl,
crepuscular rays have the heaven’s sigh,
as golden hues descend on evening’s crawl,
and soften the edge of a fading sky.

A gentle mist ascends above the lake,
to veil twilight’s plunge with a hoary shroud,
slowly curbing my vista to opaque,
while swans shelter unruffled in a crowd.

A sailboat drifts athwart my vision

Vapour Trials

Thundering across the sky, storm clouds joust to oust the sun.

His sweet watermelon vapour
Is a scent I will always savour.

Vapour Trail Mirage

Shafts of light caress the silver hinges
in my doorway, weaving shiny webs
around its oak  encrusted entrance.
Open razzle-dazzle in full spectrum
to a morning that has overslept.
As rainbows flash across my sun-starved eyes,
it dawns on me those neap tide nacres 
that I crave, the orange-red cloud eternally
adrift, azimuthal coin beyond imagining,
we’re mere vapour trail mirage.
Instead a

Vapour Yet Not Atomised

thought rested silence
not quite absolute stillness 
senses manifest

My Heart Varnished Like Vapour

She but a heart  breaker
Isn't she ......
The smoothness her face 
A blockade my day
Am drained like a lake 
boiling I vanishing
She did left me

Can't spread my feelings
Am drying like a vapour
Am vanishing, resuscitation
Please stay with

I have learned my bitter
 lesson, I have seen a bitter 
pill my life now seem like zero

Maybe its cold in the ember's heart...
maybe a snowflake has a soul
but we're born to label everything 
as "this" or  "that".
A pack of pill worshiping  ogres,
must get to the front of the liners.
Microwaving dreams before they arrive...
dinner served hot on the outside
cold in the middle(sound familiar?)

We think we've discovered every color- 
every emotion

Scar-City Vapour

If infinity’s a place that’s blistered by walkin’
And love is a tongue that’s twisted from talkin’
An’ eyes only swell to endless familiar
Should a 'moral' be a man’s only measure?

And if the heart becomes a burnt out region
An’ all prisons fill with what you can’t believe in
An’ skies grow dark under ‘power’ failure
Could you save yourself

Vapour Angel

Mountains of old graced with coverings of snow
A gift from the heavens in delightful bestow

Above these ancients skyscrapers these pillars of rock
Crafted from nature, grace one from the flock

Sitting silent looking down on her lands
Natures creation, a vapour angel so grand

In plumage spread taken under her wings
These mountains have no voice, but i can hear

A comet appears in our solar system

From whence came this traveller

Love is
my palm against the window pane
collecting the morning Dew of our laughter
But unfortunately soon after.............
it's ghostly
condensation
quickly fades
IN MY MEMORY
and I've lost the vapour...

Stain glass
eyes
Depict
Deep Violet skies
tinged with
Golden Sunrise 
and
Azure Ocean waters
overlooking the celestial heavens
But stain glass eyes is the closest I will ever be
to religious sanctity
I know not, of this thing called heaven
