St George Poems - Poems about St George

St George

Inside the season
behind a warehouse
the wind got away
The cause was dark
beyond those trees

I rode away
I saw the moon block out the sky
Facing eastern winds
I sought the harvesters
meshing an epiphany for St George

Premium MemberSt George and the Dragon - In Boris' Own Words On Winning the Uk Election

I wielded my sword
And slayed the foul dragon,
Then crammed the vile beast
Right back in his flagon.

Pickled and sodden

A boat rocks on slight waves;
thick, strained rope anchors it to a sodden post.
Its deck is littered with

St George and the Dragon

In Silene there he once came

"oh please leave" she softly said
"or you like me will soon be dead."
"Alas poor dear" he bravely vowed
"have no fear" he gently bowed,
"I'll protect you, yes indeed"
and jumped upon his loyal steed.
From the lake there did arise,
right before poor Georges eyes,
a serpent-dragon smooth
