the birdsong urging me to come.
Sun aborning,
out of cocoon and slumber I,
till day is done.
Late evening,
wooing me to go on silent wings.
Moon adorning,
weaving dreams for butterflies,
and other sacred things....

To the starlight of the night,
Whether day is just aborning
Or in fading of the light,
In the summer days of sunshine
To the winter days of white,
God is bursting out all over, 
His awed children to delight
With his awesome show of might....

Kittens and puppies are performing
As another day is aborning...

New creature, in Christ we be,
New earth, behind this world leaving,
New heavens, one day we’ll see,
New song of praise we’ll be singing;

New covenant as Christ’s blood-bought,
New spirit is aborning,
New heart of flesh, by God’s Word, taught,
New mercies for each morning,
New commandment of love we got.

laving your soul

absent minded days of week
slip into working hours
and cause a tear to wet a cheek

and such a flow
of rushing wishing after
A jolt a jerk I’m back to work

downsloping dire breeds with fire

Santa Ana merciless winds breathing
capricious firebrands kindle tinder teething.
