Morning Praise
Spears of light from golden sun
Creation of prime presentment
Enveloping everyone
Capturing contentment
Native birds sing their song
The daytime is aborning
Whoa the time to praise divine
Now beginning morning....

Rhythms
Early morning, the birdsong urging me to come. Sun aborning, out of cocoon and slumber I, till day is done. Late evening, wooing me to go on silent wings. Moon adorning, weaving dreams for butterflies, and other sacred things.

From the painted skies of morning
To the starlight of the night,
Whether day is just aborning
Or in fading of the light,
In the summer days of sunshine
To the winter days of white,
God is bursting out all over,
His awed children to delight
With his awesome show of might....

Premium Member Aborning
In the chill of the morning
As a new day is dawning,
Rabbits emerge from burrows yawning
Fish in limpid pools spawning
Busy bumblebees from hives start swarming
Pretty flowers on bowers adorning
Noise from rustling trees informing
Creatures of the forest a warning
While birds in the air are reforming
Kittens and puppies are performing
As another day is aborning...

Newness of Life
New life, the gift of believing, New creature, in Christ we be, New earth, behind this world leaving, New heavens, one day we’ll see, New song of praise we’ll be singing; New covenant as Christ’s blood-bought, New spirit is aborning, New heart of flesh, by God’s Word, taught, New mercies for each morning, New commandment of love we got. 08.12.2021

Exploration
I am tasting the pristine water melted from the highest mountain up high
Dancing with the sun's rays over glazing summer's green grass
Floating with the weltering waves of a vast ocean at sunset
Riding the aborning knowledge of our next generation
Smelling the chastity of the first bud of spring bloomed with beauty and maturation
I am exploring your heart
laving your soul
sharing your thoughts
before I can love you...

Ghosts of Dead Friends
voices laughing in my head
behind my dreaming vision
long past life and yet not dead
with friendly mock derision
they call to me as I awake
in wee small hours of morning
wry full glances secret smiles
and words that die aborning
absent minded days of week
slip into working hours
and cause a tear to wet a cheek
in memories of ours
It’s touch and go
and such a flow
of rushing wishing after
A jolt a jerk I’m back to work
in echoes of their laughter...

Premium Member Rainy Day Blues
Thunder greets me this Monday morning
 As a storm was aborning
From this gloom I take my cues
Leaving me with rainy day blues

A feeling of deja vu I can't ignore
I've seen this gloomy day before
Melancholy thoughts are what I choose
Leaving me with Monday morning blues

My thoughts float in the clouds above
Of one night stands misconstrued as love
Precipitation from the sky now spews
Leaving me with the rainy day blues

Seething skies like bloodshot eyes,
wailing gales assailing through canyon ~
weeping fits, ember storm cries
bristling tears with random abandon.

East to west, unwanted guests,
downsloping dire breeds with fire
fueling fest of fiery crests
aborning hells of unholy spire.

Santa Ana merciless winds breathing
capricious firebrands kindle tinder teething.

Moonlight
/
Night has no sun but has a light so fair If you believe in magic, you will find it there Moonglow tries to peek inside the blinds and colors silver everything it finds If you have dreams aborning, moonglow will bring joy and hope and happiness, if you let them sing There is a joy to be had in the swirling evenglow The moon gods will riches upon you bestow Open wide your heart, let the moonlight shine in, It is a precious prize you will be blessed to win
