The springtime comes; cherry snow reigns,
No further cold nor ice remains.
O Sakura your beauty known, 
In Sakura my love is shown.

Falling Sakura Blossoms

In spring I watched the Sakura blossoms fall like
snow, landing in the waters of the Kushi Ogawa River.
See the beauty of the tall Japanese Crane as it fishes
along the edge of the water while Canon Birds fly
from tree to tree chasing moths, flies, and bees.
In the wider areas of the river, the Hokkaido
Ducks swim while

Sakura Raindrops

When the aromatic garden of celestial spheres, splatters acrylic herbs, 
I listen to soft serenades of sakura raindrops, 
floating along singing sapphires, longing to reach the unseen colors, veiling cherry-blossom skies.

I ponder, if I could catch drizzling silhouettes of dancing diamonds,
would I then find petrichor tales of forsaken twilight? 
Perhaps, in their liquified state, metaphors

Pilgrimage to a sakura

In Japan, people make a Spring pilgrimage
They go to pay homage to cherry blossoms
When the earth nods its head
When the sun warms its forehead
It causes bare trees to burst into bloom
There a hundreds of dresses in regalia
There are pink chima jeogari dancing
There are white áo dài shimmering
There are lemon petticoats inviting
Plundered by industrious bees
Till a

blooms of pinks and white
blanket the painted canvas
drawing all who pass

the cherry blossom,
beauty but a breath in time,
life's foreshadowing

Cherry Blossom Continent

Imagine the world full of bloom
Imagine a continent full of the joy of smiling faces
They have magical power to transmit the warm gentle feeling to the others

Flowers come out from the ground where rain joins with fertilizer,
(All kinds of worms collaborate to make it happen!)

Humans come in and go out from the ground where sadness,

The Streets Are Bleeding Sakura

There's a rare blooming 
of sakura this fall
the trees cotton-candy-sweet
antipsychotic-sweet
Blossoms descend in batches
soon to cover the asphalt road
like spilled Pepto-Bismol
I swallow my pill with regret
drift into oblivion
the petals blur in my vision
the whole world tinted pink
by my medicated brain

Destiny of Sakura

Sakura in spring
fell from the tall tree so high
It was chopped and trampled

Sakura Sakura Petal Dance

The petals dance graceful,
While Ninja are disgraceful
Samurai brings honor
While evil brings dishonor
The ramen is an original
As the American ramen is bad
as destruction may fall upon us
The sakura petals will still descend gracefully

Taxi That's Going Nowhere

With the snow ceasing
Nestled between the beds of sakura petals
With a taxi that’s going nowhere
Nowhere to take shelter
Nowhere with open borders
Turned away
Right at the doorstep
There’s no home now
And there’s no
Place for them to visit
No home to go back to 
As the sakura blooms into spring
The snow falls
Freezing spring in its wake
The driver stops
To the wave

Short Yet Fiercely Lived

Things seem different
This spring
The same sakura petals
Heart shaped
Short lived
But
There is something breathtaking
About a short yet fiercely
Lived existence
One of the things
that don’t change every year
A sense of relief
Living in a time of unease
In the air of spring
In an age of advancements
Close yet so far away
Sitting in solitude
As the
Spring turns into summer
When we leave our doors

Sweet Sakura

The luscious cherries
And blossoming fragrances
Sweet sakura tree

Sakura Blossom

The snow gently falls down from the blue sky,
And down, towards south migrating birds go.
Strongly and harshly does the North Wind blow,
Causing stones, twigs to willy-nilly fly.
As I sit here, I watch these scenes and sigh,
When I see the river no longer flows,
And to the ground, wilted flowers bow low,
This makes me ask, why we
