Riddled Poems

Imbalance

Feet walking with direction and decision

Mouth speaking sweet words

Not riddled with derision

Heart beating for pure love

With no malice or spite

Eyes seeking and finding acceptance

With no attachment of wrong or right

Ears listening for a moment of bonding

Not tools for inspection

Head held high with pride, positivity, and deep reflection

Mine psyche riddled with dybbuk

Mine psyche riddled with dybbuk
Thru emerging adulthood awareness awoke
within noggin of average baby boomer bloke
catastrophization toward risk taking I evoke
positive growth experiences throughout vast
number of orbitz around sun never kickstarted,
nor linkedin with potential livingsocial folk,
thus omniscient cosmic consciousness I invoke
diametrically contradicting atheism
haint no (Sikh, sick nor sic) joke,
where self important
fulsome mortals indistinguishable
among bobbing flotsam

Premium MemberRiddled And Empty Handed

The enthusiastic logastellus,
empty handed yet so scripturient;
Try to write it feels incoherent,
without words there is no audience;

Plagued with a poor vocabulary,
madness fills an overactive mind;
First line leaves that soul unsatisfied,
not able to capture a writer’s quiddity;

You can sit warm yourself by the fire
believing the Muse comes on command;
When will raw emotion understand
it

Riddled

I knelt by the river
and looked
for a smooth stone
with a hole,

but the rock I found
was rough and riddled
with a network
of passages

sifting light and water,
sandstone worn
to fragile bridges
that are barely holding.

No Joke, This Punster Riddled With Anxiety

Hue more, a dog send,

Riddled With Syllables

RIDDLED WITH SYLLABLES

writing riddles in
numbered syllables
one to ten then
back again….

Clone
poets poise
breaking soils
buried recoils
pale boned words recall
meanings leaning extremes
only tomatoes and beans
A ‘mused’ but not yet D ‘composed’
forcing phrases on countless pages
devouring clichéd thick fingered wisdom
spinning self-consumed cocoons of pride
in woven disguise they try hide
mining secret metaphors
housing rapid heart beats
flat blue sky circles
elusive prose

Riddled Heart

I cannot stay with your riddled heart,
One minute you love, than you tear it apart,
There is no substance there to bind,
Your words are like a jeckle n hide,
One day one way and then another way the next,
My mind can no longer keep up with your mess,
It saddens me to see the confusion you feel,
Unable to
