TANGERINE PEAKS

TANGERINE PEAKS

above tangerine peaks
the sun whispers soft—
clouds drift in shoals,
a dance of blue and grey hues,
a heady blush made by the sun.

Valleys and Peaks

We've traveled many roads, some steep and long, 
kept steadfast on our walk, forever so strong. 

Through our ups and downs, we traveled this road, 
for all those times we carried life’s heavy load. 

Valleys and peaks may have always been there, 
with courage we walked, not always with despair. 

Below those peaks, shines a

Haiku: Mountains

silently they stand 
ancient giants with high peaks
peace and beauty calls

Ethereal Peaks

In misty heights, where clouds embrace the stone,
Our souls ignite, no longer flesh and bone.

Dawn breaks, a spark across the dreaming sky,
As master's words make reality fly.

We climb through realms where logic bends and twists,
Our minds are ablaze with wisdom's amethysts.

Noon's golden fire reveals a hidden door,
Beyond which time... flows backwards, then no more.

On the peaks of destiny where the clouds of promises are torn apart

On the peaks of destiny where the clouds of promises are torn apart,
I offered you my heart as an atlas of fabulous worlds.
The fervor of our love, a shooting star, dazzling and then, just a pale memory,
Now I remain like a monk in the cell of contemplation, breathing life into the charcoal of the past.
Ah,

Peaks and Valleys

Those highs and lows

Peaks and valleys

Appear to be arising..

It is the script which

Seems as a script

Or seems not..these

"Seemings" are

Simply not two..

Rendering the scripts

Filled with the 

Freedom of what is

Unknowable...

The Echo of Granite Peaks

Amidst the craggy heights, where granite kisses sky, There dwells a voice, a tempest’s cry, A soul aflame, a melody unbound, Glenn Hughes, the Voice of Rock, profound.

From Trapeze’s wings, he soared aloft, A troubadour of rhythm, a velvet voice so soft, In Deep Purple’s embrace, he wove a cosmic tale, His bass notes echoing

I have seen the peaks

I have seen the peaks
Majestic mountains
Flaunting themselves
Before a diminutive sun
Watched a shadow
Snare the radiance of light
Stood before a Cathedral
Surrounded by truth’s beggars
Touched the hand of an infant
Reaching out in wonder
Felt the sting
Of doubt’s lash
The soothing balm
Of hope
Listened to the murmurings
Of monotony’s metaphor
Heard the herald
Of the hounds
The baying 
Of baleful bastards
I have caressed
A soulless sunrise
Bedded down
A

Oh Meaty Peaks! a Pindaric Ode

Oh Meaty Peaks!
Oh meaty peaks adorn-ed on her lips,
Why do you cheeky mountains there exist?
You spoil the smooth mottled flip-flops,
Of canines' drooping moistened chops...
Oh spikes of flesh, you've piqued my interest!

Summer, Amid Green Valley's Highest Peaks

Summer, amid green valley's highest peaks
Through the woods air's sweet release carry on.
Birds quiet among leaves still far withdrawn.
Shade of carmine leaves bath in golden steaks.

Labyrinth fields sun's freedom to rally.
Horned owl rides the air stream, into darkness
Against the fading moonlight's hunt stillness
Joy flying in silence dilly-dally.

Cicadas sing loudly, nymphs mating song;
Graceful gray mourning doves

Peaks and Valleys

Everyone enjoys cruising easy street 
Hits keep playing around the clock
Everything flawlessly falling into place
Puzzle pieces effortlessly interlock

Humming along until hit a speed bump
Your momentum derailed by a detour 
Diverting your good vibes off track 
Unsure if you will be able to endure

Then reminded of our ability to bounce back
That has craftfully carried us this

When Depression Peaks

I love the reality the dark keeps,
without designer drugs or alcohol.

It is as deep as the void from which light has sprung.
To speak of mighty waves the sea released.
To follow boldly solstice no drawn drapes up from.
The triggers I can't fix to see my face.

Drawn and racked as peasants do it.
I face the west the

14 Peaks

From the beginning 
we shake hands with death
At first as a stranger
when caught in its net

And last as a friend
bearing gifts from beyond
A bridge for one crossing
past futures begone 

While leaving behind
 the measure of fate
 Transcending tomorrow
  we unlock its gate

What’s last becomes first
closing open interred
a singular journey
—not shaken but stirred

Life is like an ever changing mountain range,
Valleys of tall grass,
Peaks of happiness that we strive for,
And the hidden ponds and rivers,
That dare to drown us all.
We are all at a different point,
Resting atop a peak,
Or wandering through the tall grass.
And some are in the ponds and rivers,
Either swimming with virtue towards something better,
Or sinking

the pause
pregnant 

stillness 
silence

sudden 
bliss burst

clear light
engulfs

presence
here now 

the void
our friend

we are
we be

therein
thus free

no goals 
remain

we feel
complete
