What to Submit?
1 original, song on the theme of ...your song choice....
Only LYRIC is acceptable form.
Choose your favorite song, write out the lyrics, using them as the structure for the write, following it's sentence count, syllable count etc
Replace those lyrics with your own could be similar to the chosen song, but preferably something fresh and completely different. The more different from the original will win, substituting a few words will not cut it!!!
Please use at least one verse, and one chorus .No minimum line count but make it substantial please No maximum line count but be reasonable! Don't be intimidated song writing is actually easier for many than poetry.. Please submit the original lyrics of your song choice, then submit YOUR NEW LYRICS SO I CAN COMPARE!

Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
